However, one thing that players can expect is the returning Personas that the protagonist can equip as a Wild Card throughout the game.
Therefore, it is not impossible that Persona from the past games could reappear inPersona 5: The Phantom X. Some are more likely to appear than others, such as the one that serves as a mascot. Others are less likely, since they have only recently appeared inPersona 5.Regardless, players will be excited to see whether their favorite Persona makes an appearance in the newest installment of the series.
10Jack Frost
As the mascot of Atlus, the developer of the Persona series,Jack Frost can be expectedto make its reappearance inPersona 5: Phantom X. The persona has been a part of the series since the first installment and is a favorite for players to summon to provide Bufu-skills.

9Rakshasa
Originally appearing inPersona 3 FES, Rahshasa became the favorite for players to dish out Physical damage while also providing a defensive option against Physical damage type due to its affinity.
Typically asummonable persona from the Strength arcana, Rakshasa can be expected to make another appearance in the series inPersona 5: Phantom X. The persona would be a perfect choice for Wonder to both dish out and defend against Physical damage.
8Byakhee
As one of the Personas to make its re-debut inPersona 5 Royal, Byakhee could be another Persona reappear inPersona 5: Phantom X. A representation from the Cthulhu Mythos, Byakhee would be a notable addition to the game with its unique design and skillset. The Persona can be converted to avery powerful Passive Skill back inPersona 5 Royal, Null Wind.
Byakhee itself makes its debut early during anaccidental Palace visit with Kasumi Yoshizawa, posing as a guard in the Palace and proving to be a worthy Shadow against both Joker and Kasumi.
7Cait Sith
Cait Sith most recently appeared inPersona 5: Royal. Originally appearing inShin Megami Tensei II, Cait Sith’s appearance would enable Wonder to access Persona from Celtic Mythologies, which in turn would open opportunities for other characters from the myth to also appear in the game.
InPersona 5 Royal, Cait Sithappeared as an early game Persona, enabling Joker to access Agi skill to exploit enemies' weaknesses. Should Cait Sith be implemented, the skill set would likely be more or less the same as inPersona 5 Royal.
6Slime
Humorously appearing as Nanako’s Chocolate inPersona 4: The Golden Animation, this Persona has been around since the earliest iteration ofMegami Tensei.It usually appears as aform of botched fusions.

As an early-game Persona, Slime is expected to appear as one of the options that Wonder has in his own Persona Compendium. Players also expected Slime to appear as one of the Shadows as well, as it routinely so in other games of the series.
5Skadi
Persona’s depiction of the Celtic Goddess, Skadi, is a powerful one. Her presence asone of the powerful late-game Personawill ensure that she is up in the tier list of the upcoming game should she be implemented.
InPersona 5 Royal, Skadi has a skill set of heavy Ice damage and Ailment infliction. The theme of both Ice and Ailments would be expected from her skill set as well should she be implemented inPersona 5: Phantom X.
4Yoshitsune
Yoshitsune,The strongest Persona in the Tower Arcana, is a household name for many avidPersonaplayers, especially those looking for the most overpowered Persona possible in terms of Physical power. Yoshitsune should be expected as one of the late-game Personas inPersona 5: Phantom Xshould he be implemented.
The requirements to summon Yoshitsune would likely be difficult to achieve due to his powerful stats. InPersona 5 Royal, Yoshitsune can only be obtainedthrough Advanced Fusion mechanic.
3Odin
The mythological All-Father from the Norse Mythology is thestrongest Strength Arcana Personain the series. If he appears in the new game, Odin would be one of the late-game Persona to expect inPersona 5: Phantom X.Odin has also made an appearance inPersona 3: The Movie, further increasing the chance of him being summonable in the upcoming game.
His skillset would potentially involve the strongest iteration of Electric skills with his signature skill, Wild Thunder. His unique skill, Gungnir, could also make a comeback in the upcoming game although noticeably absent inPersona 5 Royal.
2Kohryu
Kohryu is notable for being thestrongest Persona from the Hierophant’s ArcanainPersona 5 Royal,and its signature design as a dragon. The golden dragon would provide Wonder the necessary skill set to defeat even the strongest Shadows, should the Persona gets implemented in the upcomingPersona 5: Phantom X.

The Persona also made its appearance inPersona 4: The Animation, aiding Yu Narukami in his time of need as Ryotaro Dojima’s personification of help. In its latest iteration, Kohryu has a skillset of Psio-type damages andseveral powerful passive skills.
1Lucifer
Lucifer is another familiar name for veterans of thePersonaseries due to its unique design and powerful skill set.Usually obtainable only in the late stages of the game, Lucifer’s potential addition toPersona 5: Phantom Xwould also be a crowning moment for Wonder to be able to stand on equal footholds with other Persona protagonists.
His skill set would be expected to be similar to hisPersona 5 Royalcounterpart should he be implemented, which involves his signature Almighty skill Morning Star and a plethora of Drain skills to negate certain damage types.
