There are over 30 hidden trophies inGhost of Tsushima, thanks to the abundance of new content such as Iki Island, Legends, and New Game Plus. With so many hidden trophies to claim inGhost of Tsushima, players might want to know what they are, what they are worth, and how exactly they can unlock them all with ease.

To continue Jin’s journey, players will want to unlock all of these trophies in order to claim true mastery, whether that’s of the samurai way, or through being the Ghost. Trophies can be hidden for a variety of reasons, whether that’s to surprise players with the story content and easter eggs, or simply to add a challenge.

Gathering Storm

Recover the Katana of Clan Sakai

Gathering Storm is an easy achievement to earn, as players simply have to progress through the prologue of the game, in which Jin needs to find his sword to fight the Mongols. It’s an unmissable trophy and simply has players continue through the narrative.

Point of No Return

Break Your Code to Help a New Friend

After activating the open world after the prologue, venture South of Kechi Fishing Village to find Yuna and complete the quest, The Warrior’s Code. This is a main quest that players must complete to progress, and it features Jin breaking his samurai code for the first time, forsaking honor for Tsushima’s liberation.

Company of Wolves

Recruit the Straw Hat Ronin

This is another story-related trophy, and players simply need to complete the Blood on the Grass quest that has them enlist their old friend Ryuzo, along with his clan of Ronin known as the Straw Hats. The mission itself is for The Tale of Ryuzo and is an essential mission to progress.

Stoking the Flame

Rescue Taka from Mongol Captivity

Complete the quest titled The Broken Blacksmith, which is available once players progress through Yuna’s quests. Again, this is part of the story content forGhost of Tsushima, so there is no way that players can miss this quest, and it involves rescuing Yuna’s brother, Taka.

Family Reunion

Free Lord Shimura from the Khan’s Clutches

Through the story progression of Shadow of the Samurai in Act One, players will earn themselves this trophy, which involves liberating Lord Shimura from Khotal Khan’s forces of Mongols by taking Kaneda Castle from them.

Leader of the People

Rally the Peasants of Yarikawa

Heading through Act Two, players will need to complete the story mission known as The Ghost of Yarikawa, which will have players liberate Castle Shimura and aid the people of Yarikawa, inspiring them to fight against the Mongol assault that has stolen their village and lives.

Birthright

Recover Your Father’s Armor

Once players are in Act 2 of the game, they will want to head to the North of Toyotama, where they will find a quest titled Ghost of the Past, located directly in Omi Estate.

Completing this quest will see players earn the armor of Jin Sakai’s father, which on top of being a trophy, is a pretty useful armor for early use in Act Two.

Dying Embers

Eradicate the Traitors in the Name of a Fallen Friend

Another unmissable, this trophy is earned through story tales in Act Two, where players will complete A Reckoning in Blood, a mission that will see plenty of combat as Jin attacks Fort Koyasan. After completing this mission of tragedy, the trophy will pop.

The Ghost

Embrace Your New Identity

Forsaking the samurai code and becoming the Ghost that Tsushima needs is not an optional task, and all players will be required to do it simply through the story of the game. At the end of the mission From the Darkness, players will earn this trophy, as well as embark on the inevitable path to dishonor.

Reunite With Your Allies in the Frozen North

39.6% of players earned

At the start of Act Three, players will have the mission of Wolves at the Gate that they are required to complete in order to progress. The mission itself might be a tad straightforward, as they simply need to fight or sneak through bandits and other hordes, but completing the mission is required to get the story-related trophy.

Sovereign End

Confront the Khan

The quest that players have been waiting for since the prologue, Eternal Blue Sky will see a rematch with Khotal Khan, but this time, Jin and the player are ready, and stronger than the Mongol leader. Players mustbeat Khotal Khanin a boss fight, ending his reign of terror of Tsushima to pop the trophy.

Mono No Aware

Leave the Past Behind and Accept the Burden of Your New Mantle

Reunite with Lord Shimura after the defeat of Khotal Khan, and engage with the quest titled The Tale of Lord Shimura. This quest will not only see Jin ride with his uncle, but it will include a deepened heartbreak through the tragedy of their inevitable duel.

At the end of this quest, players must make a decision on the fate of Lord Shimura, but that does not impact the trophy, as it will pop regardless of their choice.

Complete All of Norio’s Tales

Norio will have 9 quests that players will need to complete to unlock this trophy. The quests are not available until Act 2, and some are locked until Act 3. These quests are not timed, so players can complete them whenever they want, even if that’s after the story. Here are all the titles of the quest:

The Vengeful Warrior

Complete all of Masako’s Tales

Players need to complete all 9 of Masako’s quests, which progress through Act One and all the way to Act Three. With 9 in total, players can find them on the map, with each of the titles being found below:

The Unbending Archer

Complete All of Ishikawa’s Tales

Ishikawa is a character who will have 9 quests to his story, all of which are accessible any time through Act One, but they must progress far enough into Act 3 to unlock them all, which are numbered below:

The Headstrong Thief

Complete all of Yuna’s Tales

Yuna’s personal quests do not start to appear until Act 2, and it’s a wise idea to complete them once they start appearing so they properly integrate with the story. There are only 4Yuna questsfor this trophy, as the ones completed in Act One are unrelated:

Witness Protection

Shoot a Terrified Enemy With an Arrow While They Are Feeling

Act Two will be the easiest way to earn this trophy, as players can equip the Ghost Armor, which has an increased chance to terrify enemies. Players will also earn the poison darts in Act 2, and the easiest way to complete Witness Protection is to poison an unsuspecting enemy near other enemies, and then wait for them to begin running in terror, and then simply pull out a Longbow or Half Bow and shoot said enemy in the back of the head.

Have a Nice Fall

Kill an Enemy with Fall Damage by Knocking Them Off a Ledge

The best way to complete Have a Nice Fall is to unlock the Wind Stance, and use the Typhoon Kick move by Holding the Triangle Button, at an enemy when their health is low or whilst they are standing near a cliffside. As long as the enemy dies from the fall damage, no matter how small or steep, the trophy will pop. This also works great for archers on their towers.

Den of Thieves

Discover Umugi Cove

During the unmissable quest A Message in Fire in Act 2, players will have to travel to Umugi Cove, so it’s impossible to miss. Yet, if players want it right away, then from the moment Act 2 is accessible, travel to the South-West corner of Toyotama to uncover this area.

Honor the Unseen

Bow to 10 Hidden Altars Across Tsushima

Hidden Altars are noted through the humble signposts that have an illustration of a samurai bowing his head. At these signs, swipe down on the Trigger Pad to have Jin bow. Players will know that they have done it correctly if the environment reacts, whether that’s a gust of wind or otherwise. There are over 17 Hidden Altars inGhost of Tsushima, and below is a list of 10 locations easily found.

Discover a Pillar of Honor and Collect its Sword Kit

This trophy isn’t the rarest in the world, as there are over 23 Pillars of Honor found across Tsushima. Whilst there are tons accessible to players, this guide will only list one, as it is essential for another hidden trophy, Cooper Clan Cosplayer. This Pillar of Honor can be found in Kamiagata, northeast of Iwai Village, and will grant players the Sly Tanuki sword kit.

Monochrome Masters

Purchase an Item From the Black and White Dye Merchants

There are two specific merchants inGhost of Tsushimathat can provide black or white dyes, and players simply need to spend 10 flowers in their inventory to purchase a permanent choice of dye for one of their armor kits.

Cooper Clan Cosplayer

Dress Up as a Legendary Thief

Players will need to find an assortment of items if they are to cosplay as a legendary PlayStation character, and the old mascot of Sucker Punch, Sly Cooper. To find all items, players must first reach Act 3.

Dirge of the Fallen Forge

Play the “Lament of the Storm” at a Friend’s Grave

After an essential story moment near the end of Act 2, Taka is killed by the Khan in A Reckoning in Blood. In Act 3, players will be able to find Taka’s grave East of Yarikawa. They must play Lament of the Storm on their flute, which can be equipped in their Gear inventory, but only after they find it after finding 5 singing crickets, located across cemeteries on Tsushima. Out of the Past

Survive the Eagle’s Medicine and Bid Farewell to a New Friend

A story trophy from the Iki Island DLC that cannot be missed, players must complete the main story on Iki Island if they are to earn this trophy. It’s not essential for the platinum, but it does count toward the total percentage ofGhost of Tsushima.

Treasures of the Past

Complete all Mythic Tales on Iki Island

There are only 2 Mythic Tales found on Iki Island, and they can only be completed through a bit of story progress in the DLC:

Complete all Memories of Your Father

Players can discover 5 Memories of Your Father throughout Iki Island. These Collectibles are easily tracked with the Traveler’s Attire outfit, and the five memories themselves can be found below:

Monkey See

Embody the Spirit of the Monkey on Saruiwa

Interact with three different monkey statuesacross Saruiwa Mountain, and then complete the Monkey Sanctuary activity found at the top, of Saruiwa, located at the bottom left of Iki Island.

Pride of Ishikawa

Achieve Bronze or Higher on All Archery Challenges

There are 8 Archery Challenge Locations on Iki Island, and players simply need to reach a Bronze score to obtain the trophy. Each location is listed below:

Chiyoko’s Song

Complete All Animal Sanctuaries

Iki Island has 9 Animal Sanctuaries that players must find if they are to earn this trophy. They are all found in the open world, and players will need to play the flute in order to pet them and complete the sanctuaries. All locations are found below:

Purchase an Item From the Crimson Dye Merchant and Obtain a Dye for Your Sakai Horse Armor

9.1% of players earned

Players must complete all bokken duels at the Hidden Cove Tournament in Fune’s Refuge to unlockthe dye merchant. After which, they can purchase an item from this character with flowers. After, they must complete all Mythic Tales on Iki Island to earn horse armor, and then the merchant requires 6 Sakai Banners.
