Metallica has become the puppet masters ofFortniteFestival and Battle Royale, but their sights have now reached Rocket Racing. This high-octane game mode that has players put their foot on the gas to win intense races now has a few Metallica quests that will allow players to unlock free cosmetics to bring into theirFortnitegame modes, with a new car and decals to show off in Battle Royale and Rocket Racing.

There are quite a few quests for Metallica’s Rocket Racing event, but all of them can be found below, along with every reward. TheMetallica Questsare plentiful, but to the speed demons out there, they will easily be able to ride the lightning and come out with the best set of free Metallica xFortniterewards.

All Rocket Racing Metallica Quests

There are 4 stages of Metallica Quests in Rocket Racing, with each set featuring 5 Quests that can be completed one after the other. Each Stage of these quests features a rather simple task, earning players XP and further promise ofrewards for their vehicles. Listed below, is every Metallica Quest in Rocket Racing, alongside their reward:

Complete Races on Thrash Mountain (0/5)

Players can directly select the Thrash Mountain track in the browser, and they will need tocomplete a racein any position on this track 5 times.

Travel Total Distance While Turboing on Thrash Mountain (50,000)

Left Click on PC, Triangle on PlayStation, and Y on Xbox to activate Turbo, and simply use it whenever it is available whilst racing on the Thrash Mountain track. Build up Turbo by drifting or simply driving.

Hit Boost Pads on Thrash Mountain (100)

Boost pads are indicated by the platforms on the ground or walls that have a flashing green arrow. Drive over them to activate them.

Drift Total Distance on Thrash Mountain (75,000)

Hold the Left or Right buttons to steer for long enough so players can initiate into a drift. Repeat these drifting steps only on Thrash Mountain for the quest to finish.

Activate Turbo Bonus Zones on Thrash Mountain (30)

Once a Turbo has been activated, look to the left on the boost meter for a quick-time-event pop-up. Hitting the corresponding button activates a Turbo Bonus.

Activate Turbo (0/75)

Left Click on PC, Triangle on PlayStation, and Y on Xbox, will all activate a Turbo for players to use. This turbo refreshes with drifts or by driving, so players just need to fully use them whenever they are available.

Drift Total Distances (75,000)

Drift by making sharp turns with the Left or Right buttons, and simply progress through races to complete this large distance.

Use Total Underthrust Percentage (1,500)

Players can activate Underthrust by jumping and then holding the jump button to make their vehicle act like a jetpack. Underthrust is a percentage meter shown on the right of the screen when jumping.

Fly Total Distance (100,000)

Players can fly through using their Underthrust, or simply by going up ramps in maps that have plenty of airtime.

Travel Total Distance (250,000)

Simply racing through the game will pop this quest, as players just need to play as normal to travel large distances.

Shadows Follow

These quests will be activated on Monday 17, at 9 AM ET.

Complete Runs in Speed Run (35)

In the Rocket Racing category, players can select the Speed Run game mode, to which they will need to complete a total of 35 races.

Fly Total Distance in Speed Run (50,000)

By simply playing Speed Run and utilizing the underthrusts and ramps that have players remain in the air, will they complete this challenge.

Drift Total Distance in Speed Run (50,000)

Drifting with hard use of the Left or Right controls will complete this quest, even if it takes a while.

Activate Turbo in Speed Run (35)

Earn Turbo through high speeds and drifts and activate them with Left Click on PC, Triangle on PlayStation, and Y on Xbox.

Hit Boost Pads in Speed Run (50)

Look out for glowing green arrows on the floor and walls and run into them to activate them.

Nothing Else Matters

These quests will be activated on Friday 21, at 9 AM ET.

Complete Laps in Ranked Racing (20)

Ranked Racing is a competitive Rocket Racing game mode that can be selected in the Rocket Racing category from the lobby. Players need to complete a total of 20 laps across various races.

Hit Boost Pads in Ranked Racing (50)

Run into Boost Pads to activate them, and they are shown by an arrow symbol with a distinct green pulse.

Activate Draft in Ranked Racing (15)

Draft is activated by speeding up behind an opponent’s vehicle, indicated by the white stripes that follow across their vehicle.

Fly Total Distance in Ranked Racing (50,000)

Use the underthrust ability and ramps to gain airtime throughout various races in Ranked Racing.

Get a Startline Boost of at least 50% in Ranked Racing (10)

Don’t press anything until the green circle shows on the countdown timer, and try to time it better with sound cues to get higher than 50% ten times.

Rocket Racing x Metallica Rewards

Below, is all the rewards players can obtain by completing a set amount of any of the available quests. These quests do not have to be in order, meaning players can complete some from the Welcome Home set and others from the Wherever I May Roam set. However, with 20 quests in total, players will need to complete them all if they want the last reward. If not, they can just complete 10 to get the Backfire vehicle body.
