Chai is an adorable peppy elephant villager from theSanrio x Animal Crossing collaboration, based on the Sanrio character Cinnamoroll! Unfortunately, that means she’s only available through exclusive Amiibo cards, and she can’t be found through traditional villager searching methods.
She has a teacup balanced on her head, which makes the perfect candidate for a food/drink themed island, and she’s popular for her cutesy fashion sense and theme. InNew Horizons, her house is a pastel blue with a pastel pink roof. The interior is similarly pastel-colored and decorated with Cinnamoroll themed furniture!

This cheese-themed mouse is Chadder, a smug villager that comes dressed to the nines. According to hisAnimal Crossing: Pocket Campbio, his parents meant to name him after their favorite cheese, but they got the vowels mixed up. He’s also the only mouse with the smug personality!
The exterior of his house matches a food themed island pretty well, with orange walls and a rounded yellow roof meant to resemble cheese. The interior is a slightly different theme, seeming to resemble a city hotel’s bathroom.

This peppy penguin is Sprinkle! She may not look the most food themed, but once you know her Japanese name is Frappé, it’s easy to see where the inspiration comes from. Her English name refers to the ice cream topping, which makes sense as she somewhat resembles an ice cream with a swirl on top. Sprinkle is also the onlypeppy penguin villager currently in the series!
The exterior of her house is a basic blue brick house with a white roof (so, the opposite of her design), and the interior is completely ice themed.

Tangy is a popular peppy cat villager designed to resemble an orange! Down to the leaf on her head and the citrus texture of her skin, she’s perfect for a food themed island. Her English name comes from the sharp taste of citrus fruit, and her Japanese name (Hyakupā) is a contraction of the Japanese words for ‘100 Percent’, referring to juice concentrate.
