CES 2023 is in full swing, with various tech companies using the event to make major announcements. Just recently, Nvidia used CES 2023 to unveil itsRTX 4070 Ti graphics cardto the masses.
ASUS is not letting CES 2023 pass it by without making some announcements of its own as well.ASUS has a variety of Chromebook laptopsreadily available that vary in terms of power and price. The ASUS Chromebook Vibe line of laptops are marketed specifically as cloud gaming laptops, and while there have been some blows to the cloud gaming space recently, like Stadia’s closure, it’s still a growing market with some companies making serious headway.

The Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip boasts a 14" screen, 144 Hz display, and “ultrafast” WiFi 6E technology for the best cloud gaming experience possible. The laptop comes three-month subscriptions to Nvidia GeForce Now andAmazon Luna+, so gamers can test out its cloud gaming capabilities right away. A PC Game Pass subscription is not included with the ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip, but it should still be a great option for those who are signed up for Microsoft’s subscription service. Full pricing and release date details for the ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip cloud gaming laptop have not been announced at the time of this writing.
Other notable specs include its 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and 16 GB RAM, which the ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip utilizes to improve the cloud gaming experience for its users. It was also noted byASUSthat the laptop could function well as a work laptop as it includes access to various productivity programs and apps. Even so, the main selling point remains the device’s cloud gaming capabilities.
While it may be quite some time before cloud gaming is the dominant way people play games, the technology only gets better every year. There are still some issues to iron out, but cloud gaming is being leveraged pretty successfully by Amazon with Luna, Nvidia with GeForce Now, Microsoft with Xbox Game Pass,Sony with its PS Plus Premium tier, and by Nintendo with the various games that it’s released on the Switch that use cloud gaming. In future, gamers can expect cloud gaming to grow even further, becoming more accessible and reliable in the process.
