The story ofAtomic Hearthas no shortage of wild twists and turns. Many of the story beats inAtomic Heartcenter around betrayal, deception, and amnesia. Left and Right, Dr. Sechenov’s loyal bodyguards, are a great example of all these themes coming together. During the fight, Agent P-3 learns more than he can handle about them. While he’s trying to wrap his head around where they came from, they’re busy trying to destroy him. It’s up to the player to keep P-3 on task while his mind reels from it all.

The Twins, like most bosses in the game, have a large move-set that features flashy, bombastic attacks.Being two separate targetsmakes this fight hard enough, but the fact that their moves complement each other so well only makes a hard fight tougher. Surprisingly though, they don’t have much in the way of resistances or vulnerabilities, making them one of very few bosses that leave the player a lot of latitude.
The Twins’ Stats
The Twins don’t have a huge health pool individually, even on Armageddon difficulty. However, they share health. When one gets significantly more damaged than the other, their health bars even back out. This means it’s possible to focus on just one of them and merely avoid the other.
Left and Right have only one resistance each: Left is resistant to ranged weapons, and Right is resistant to electricity. Neither have any vulnerabilities. That said,a fire or ice cartridgewill add at least some damage, so it’s best to bring one along.

What to Bring
Yet again, theZvezdochka is clearly the best weaponfor this fight. That said, there are a few items to bring along to get the most out of the Zvezdochka’s charge attack. Here’s all the equipment, skills, and consumables players should bring to the fight with the Twins:

How to Beat the Twins in Atomic Heart
When P-3 isloaded up with the items, equipment, and skillslisted above, he’s ready to confront Sechenov and take on the Twins. It’s a tough fight, especially on Armageddon difficulty, but this loadout can clear through the fight with relative ease.
There’s a deceptively simple attack pattern to go for. If P-3 can keep this up, the Twins will be finished in no time:
All the while, keep a Dynamo and a Condensed Milk active. With this approach, P-3 should always have enough energy to deliver a devastating blow with the Zvezdochka’s Reverse Shot while one or the other Twin is lifted up by Mass Telekinesis. However, unlikein the fight with Dewdrop, lifting the Twins doesn’t actually interrupt them. P-3 needs to avoid their attacks if he has any chance of delivering his own.

The Twins’ Attacks
The Twins have attacks they do separately anda few they do together. Left is the melee attacker and Right favors floating around the room to dish out ranged attacks. There are some basic punches and kicks, but the most important attacks are as follows:
Left: Energy Wave
Left flies up into the air and slams down to send out a circular energy wave through the room. Jump over the wave or dodge as it passes through to avoid it. The Polymeric Shield can also absorb this hit.

Left: Energy Slash
Left swings her legs to create a slash of energy. She can send these out horizontally or vertically and she usually combos them together. The Polymeric Shield is a good idea to get through all the attacks, but they can also be dodged or jumped around.
Left: Energy Ribbon
Left goes up into a stance and slowly spins around creating a wide ribbon of energy that goes along the floor. Jumping and dashing through the air over it is the best way to avoid this attack.

Right: Polymer Boulder
Right will build up a huge boulder of Polymer and then roll it towards P-3. It turns to hit him wherever he goes so the best way to avoid it is tododge just before it hitsor use Polymeric Shield to absorb it.
Both: Polymer Splash
Right flings a boulder of Polymer into the air and it splashes down to spread Polymer around the room. Right will do this attack regularly, but occasionally the Twins team up on this attack. When they do, the boulder hits the ground with an energy wave too.Polymeric Shield is the bestway to completely avoid damage while all this is happening.

Both: Laser Beams
Left and Right can bothfire laser beams from their eyes. They can do this even while lifted by Mass Telekinesis, although not as accurately. Occasionally, they’ll team up on this attack. Left will fire a laser at Right, who will then deflect it with a large mirror. Right aims the now enhanced beam towards P-3 in a sweeping motion. The best way to avoid this is to dodge all the way to the left or right to get out of its sweeping cone.
Both: Laser Prism
The Laser Prism is the Twins ultimate attack. They do this at least twice during the fight. Thankfully, it can be easily avoided. Pick a safe space, face into the center of the prism, and strafe around to stay within the safe zone.
Despite how devastating these attacks can be, if Agent P-3 keeps the attack pattern described above, he can win out over the Twins. If he does, he’llearn the Good Endingfor his troubles. It takes some practice, especially on Armageddon difficulty, but it can be done.
