Recently, Treyarch released the patch notes for an upcoming update inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,explaining new changes coming to the game. Some of the content includes new game modes such as the new Blueprint Gun Game for Multiplayer, the return of Apocalypse 24/7 to the game, and more. Among the new additions, the game will be having a “Triple-Double” XP Weekend event for players starting tomorrow.

The Triple-Double Weekend eventstarts Friday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. PT and will end Monday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. PT. According to the patch notes, the Triple-Double Weekend will be “bringing out the big guns” for the end of the current season. The event will feature Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass XP for players to earn.

For players who want to increase their experience, this will be the weekend to do it. According to the patch notes, players will have the opportunity to reach the final Prestige Level, max out their Battle Pass to Tier 100, or add more Prestige Keys to their collection. The post also encourages players to complete every Season Challenge they can in Multiplayer and Zombies mode while they have the chance.

This weekend event will be favorable for players who still have lots of grinding to do in the game’s multiplayer. The patch notes also provide details on the rest of the content and changes being added with the update, including Custom Mods for Create-A-Class along withthe Blueprint Gun Game modeand the Snipers Only Moshpit mode being added to the Featured Playlists in Multiplayer.

Zombies will receive new changes toDead Ops Arcade 3that fix issues with XP rewards, the data in the After-Action Report, and the stability in the Silverback Slideways bonus round. The patch notes also hint at some details about what players can look forward to in Season 3 now that Season 2 Reloaded is coming to an end. Specifically, the storyline with Adler and the location of Verdansk.

The patch notes also feature the Season 2 Outro Cinematic to close out the current season while preparing for the next one. Players will have plenty of new content to enjoy as Season 2 wraps up and the developers get ready to release Season 3, with the Double-Triple weekend being one last hurrah.
