Treyarch has announced its plans forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s upcoming third season with a rather stacked roadmap. The season starts on April 22 and looks as though it will bring a little bit of something for allCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warhas proven to be a big successfor the popular franchise, and developer Treyarch has been steadily updating it with its seasonal updates. The game features a few different game modes, including a single-player campaign, the series' famous multiplayer, a Zombies mode, and integration withCall of Duty: Warzone, with all modes receiving new content each season.

For multiplayer, Season 3 brings four new maps with Yamantau and Diesel being available when the season launches, and Duga andCall of Duty: Black Ops 2’s Standoff releasing later in the season. It also brings two new multiplayer modes including Multi-Team Elimination and the return of the popular Sicks & Stones mode. The season also brings a new scorestreak Strafe Run that lets players call in a pair of jet fighters to bomb areas of the map. ForCall of Duty: Warzone, Season 3 brings a map update as well as a new event titled Hunt for Adler.
Season 3’s additions to Zombies are focused onCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s new Outbreak mode. The update brings a new Duga Outbreak region as well as the new Cargo Truck and FAV vehicles and a new Toxic Growth field upgrade. The season will also see new Outbreak intel, although players will have to wait until the update is live to discover it for themselves. Season 3 also notably brings four new operators, including fan-favorite Captain Price to the game as well as six new weapons including the classic Ballistic Knife.
All in all,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Season 3 update seems to promise a lot of great content. The game’s seasons also receive Reloaded events that bring even more content toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwith new features, maps, and a lot more. The new content should help the popular game keep its sizable player base, and it seems as though the season will have something for every player to check out and enjoy no matter what game mode is their preference. The game did just wrap up its “Triple-Double” XP weekend, but any players who still have some content from Season 2 that they want to unlock have until Season 3 starts in just a few days to do so.
