Fallout 76: Season 14: New Allies, Skins, and Collectrons
Fans ofFallout 76will be pleased to know that Season 14 has brought with it a brand-new ally NPC. As of Season 14,players can now encounter Grandma Junko, who serves as a C.A.M.P ally that is unlocked at rank 35 of the Fight For Freedom event.
Grandma Junko acts as a vendor for the player, selling a spate of consumables, recipes, and outfits. As well as this, Junko can give the player a daily buff via a home-cooked meal, filling the player’s hunger and thirst meters for an hour.
As well as this new ally, Season 14 bringsPresidential Power Armor skinsand an Oval Office rug and wallpaper for base customization, with the season having a clear theme of patriotism for the United States. Season 14 ofFallout 76has also seen the introduction of the Autominer Collectron, which will hunt for ore and mine for the player automatically.
Limited-time Events for Fallout 76’s Season 14
Fallout 76’s Season 14 will be littered with limited-time events for players to enjoy throughout. For example, the fan-favorite Meat Week will be returning from August 29 to September 12, setting players on an adventure to procure prime meats for a community-wide party hosted by Grahm the Super Mutant and his animal companion Chally the Moo-Moo.
As well as this, August is still set to receive fun weekend events such as the Double Mutations Weekend and the Scrip Surplus, which will double the daily allotment of scrip to 300, instead of the usual 150. September will feature its own mini-events, likeLegendary Vendor Sales and Minerva Sales, while also featuring Treasure Hunter and Goldrush weekend events.
October will see an event marking the anniversary of thebombs dropping globally within theFalloutuniverse, while of course also showcasing the Spooky Scorched event for Halloween. November is the last month to fall under the tenure ofFallout 76’s Season 14, being set to introduce Double XP weekends, a Birthday Challenge event, and big plans forFallout 76’s fifth anniversary on November 14. All of these events will start at 12 pm ET, meaning fans should prepare accordingly to make the most out of them.
In all, dedicated fans ofFallout 76should be able to amass a huge range of rewards and experience over the course of the Fight For Freedom event, with its plentiful weekly events bringing a large amount of opportunities. On top of this, the new allies and mechanics that Season 14 has introduced will create a fresh overall experience to foster these many events, making Season 14 one of the most action packedseasons thatFallout 76has seen yet.
