Cookie Run Kingdom’sEnglish TikTok account has posted a video celebrating Sherbet Cookie’s debut as a playable character. The Ranged Cookie was added as part of the game’sStories by the Fireplace updateto celebrate the holiday season. Sherbet Cookie is the game’s newest Super Epic character, and as a result he currently has his own dedicated gacha.
Sherbet Cookie was first introduced inCookie Run Kingdomas part of last year’s winter event where Frost Queen Cookie and Cotton Cookie were added to the game’s roster. As part of this update, the three cookies were part of a story called “Frost Crystals,” which explained Sherbet Cookie’s origins.

In thestory ofCookie Run Kingdom, Sherbet Cookie and Cotton Cookie were close friends, and Cotton Cookie took care of Sherbet while he was falling ill from the Frost Queen’s curse. Despite Cotton Cookie’s best efforts, she lost her friend to the spell that made him sick, and Sherbet Cookie became a spirit free of illness who could travel across the winter breeze to go anywhere he wanted. The story ended up being rather bittersweet, as while Sherbet Cookie was well again, it meant Cotton Cookie had to say goodbye to her friend. The ending saw her lighting lanterns to guide him back home, even in her old age.
However, the ending has now changed considerably, as now that Sherbet Cookie’s a playable character, he can reunite with Cotton Cookie on players' teams.The TikTok videocreated by the officialCookie Run Kingdomaccount is rather fitting in this regard, as it features the song “The Loneliest Time” by Carly Rae Jepsen and Rufus Wainwright. The song is not only about fixing a broken love by leaving a light on, but the TikTok video specifically features the part about the singer coming back for her partner.
Fans are enjoying the video and the return of Sherbet Cookie as many of them are commenting about how they can no longer make jokes about Sherbet being dead, as well as saying that they can’t believe they cried over a sentient cookie.
