Claudette is a botanist that was dragged into the entity’s realm on a normal walk in the woods. Being an introvert, she preferred talking to people about her plant knowledge via the internet, but her botany skills translated to healing prowess in the world ofDead by Daylight.

Like every survivor, Claudette has three perks initially exclusive to her. These are Self-Care, Botany Knowledge, and Empathy. While players will start out with all of the first level versions of her perks, players won’t have all the open perk slotsuntil they level Claudette upto level 15. After unlocking the teachable versions of the perks in Claudette’s bloodweb, other survivors will have the chance for her perks to appear in their bloodwebs.

Self-Care

Self-Care is one ofthe most popular survivor perksdue to it allowing survivors to heal themselves without the use of a first-aid kit. It can be used an infinite amount of times in a trial, but it heals at a significantly slower rate than using a first-aid kit or being healed by another survivor. However, it also increases healing speed if the equipped player uses a first-aid kit on themselves.

Botany Knowledge

Botany Knowledge increases overall healing speed, so itgoes great with Self-Care. The healing speed goes up the more the perk is upgraded via the bloodweb.

Empathy

Empathy is a tracking perk that allows the equipped survivor to see the auras of injured or downed survivors within a certain radius. Survivors wishing to increase their altruism can use this perk to find other survivors in need and help them.

Players should note that they do not need to equip these specific perks and the only thing differentiating survivors other than aesthetics are the perks. If a player wants Claudette’s perks, but the aesthetics of another survivor, they can max out Claudette first so the perks can go to other playable characters.
