This marks the project stealing that release date fromCaptain America: Brave New World,which has taken over the February 14th, 2025, release date initially meant forBlade,now consigned to November 7th of the same year.
With the final movement ofThunderboltsfrom its initial December 2024 release date to July 25th, 2025,Deadpool 3finds itself alone on the franchise’s release calendar for 2024, making it one of only four MCU projects to have a release year all to themselves. The three existing entries on that list were 2010’sIron Man 2,2012’s The Avengers,andthe 2026-setAvengers: The Kang Dynasty,the last of which got its release date after it wasdelayed alongsideAvengers: Secret Wars. The studio and fans will have to wait and see if Reynolds and his smart-talking Deadpool can bring the same magic in an MCU-style film and save the day.
