Devouris an indie co-op survival horror that places players in the role of a chosen cultist tasked with liberating one of their fallen allies from the clutches of the demon Azazel. Dependent on the map, players must gather and destroy certain items, ranging from cursed goats to spider eggs. Sacrificing these items to altars agitate the map’s resident-possessed cultist, making them stronger and harder to avoid.

Playerscan team up in groups with three othersand choose their playable character. There are currently eight different cultists, each with their own funny bio message and unlockable cosmetics. However, these characters don’t offer additional gameplay benefits and are merely for appearance purposes. Anna is a playable cultist that must be unlocked through specific means. The first possessed cultist that players will encounter is Anna, as they are forced to explore her home, searching for keys to locked rooms.
The goal of The Farmhouse is to locate and burn all ten goats at the satanic altar to exorcize Anna and release her from Azazel’s demonic grasp. As the players destroy more goats, Anna becomes more aggressive, steadily ramping up in difficulty until she sprouts horns from her head and flies around the map with superhuman speed and vengeance. The player’sonly hope is to stun her using their UV flashlightor run and avoid her until she calms down.
In orderto unlock Anna as a playable character, players need to complete any ofDevour’s available maps while in Hardmode.Once they’ve accomplished this task, they should be able tochoose Anna to play in their next games. She has some in-game cosmetics for players to unlock, like her Mistress of Sin skin. This gorgeous grunge outfit seems inspired by Marvel’s Scarlet Witch’s signature outfit, as she is decked out in a blood-red flowing gown with curled demon horns and a demonic sigil necklace to complete the look.
