Elden Ringis a game with many standout features. From its enormous open world full of items and enemies to its deep yet hard to find lore elements, the game has plenty for players to discover. However,Elden Ringand other FromSoftware titles have always been known for one thing above all: bosses.
Bosses have always been the centerpiece of both FromSoftware’s gameplay formula and the lore within its games. Bosses in the developer’s games are almost always a challenge, causing players to rethink their strategies, check their items and buffs, and constantly stay on their toes while staying calm, lest they end upjumping to their death against anElden Ringboss.

However, as said above, the battles against these bosses is only one part of the characters' importance; between lore elements and facts discovered by players, these enemies also have stories to tell that can have an effect on how players view them. For example, a single spirit summon in the game manages to give massive context tohow Malenia survived battlingElden Ring’s Radahn. Conversely, a player recently datamined the game to find any information they could, and in the process stumbled on the fact that Mohg’s model in the data is wearing pants.
Reddit user LobotomizedTeddyBear was the one to discover the model and disturbing yet hilarious detail about the boss. Along with the aforementioned normal-looking pants, Mohg also has a nice button-up shirt with poofy sleeves. Frankly, the boss looks ready for the demigod ball rather than a bloody showdown with any lowly tarnished. As opposed to a moreviolent detail about Mohg’s face inElden Ring, this datamined model paints Mohg in a much more humorous light.
Other Reddit users agreed, offering jokes of their own about Mohg’s new look. Many users believed Mohg now looked like a character straight out of Monsters, Inc., with one user coining a nickname for the model: Mohg Wazowski. Another user joked that Mohg would fit in better at the Roundtable Hold in these clothes. Yet another user said that even the lord of blood deserves a day off sometimes, making the point that this is certainly Mohg’s casual attire.
Regardless of the reasoning behind the model, it is hilarious to imagine Mohg in these clothes rather than the royal garb and massive, menacing staff he normally carries. In this form, Mohg looks like a player-created character rather than anElden Ringboss fit forBloodborne.
Elden Ringis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
