These grace sites give users access to some key gameplay elements ofElden Ring, such as allowing them to level up their characters or changing the currently equipped spells. They also serve a key role in the overall layout of the world, as many of theshortcuts inElden Ringare designed around these Sites of Grace. Now, oneElden Ringplayer received help from an unexpected source in getting to the next grace site in the area.

A Reddit user named Ennuispectre has shared a clip with this incident, and it involves them exploringRedmane Castle inElden Ring. In the video, the player is navigating the roof of a building before they come across a chest in the corner. Ennuispectre decides to open the chest to loot its contents, but they are hit by a Redmane Knight from behind, launching them in the air. The player falls to the bottom of the level and miraculously survives with only a sliver of health left. Luckily, there is a Site of Grace right next to where the player landed, so this event ultimately allowed them to bypass most of the area.
Many users in the comments section joke about how the Redmane Knight wanted Ennuispectre to reach the next Site of Grace, with a few gamers taking this opportunity to thank the enemy. One player states that having a high amount ofVigor inElden Ringhelped them survive this incident, while other users wonder if the objects at the bottom reduced the damage taken by the player.
It looks like some fans are not clear on exactlyhow fall damage works inElden Ring, as many players discuss how this system functions in detail. Some users also appear surprised at Ennuispectre using a keyboard and mouse to playElden Ring, as they seem to believe that games developed by FromSoftware are best played with a controller.
This Site of Grace in Redmane Castle is located at the end of the level, so the Redmane Knight helped the player bypass a whole chunk of it. Fans should also note that these enemies will not appear in Redmane Castle if they visit the area after theRadahn Festival starts inElden Ring.
