WandaVisiondeveloped the story of Wanda Maximoff and her journey will continue in the long-awaitedDoctor Strangesequel. Now, Elizabeth Olsen has finished reshooting scenes forDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Olsen will reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Following the success ofWandaVisionand the official opening of the Multiverse, Marvel fans are counting down until the premiere of theDoctor Strangesequel.

Hairstylist Karen Bartek has revealed that Olsen’s reshoots fortheDoctor Strangesequelhave been completed. Bartek posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Olsen with a few members of the Marvel team on her Instagram, announcing thatDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesshas wrapped shooting again. The second installment ofDoctor Strangeoriginally wrapped filming earlier this year but in July Benedict Wong revealed that the reshoots forMultiverse of Madnesswere expected to wrap in September.
Bartek has previously worked as a stylist for a number of Marvel projects includingInfinity War,Ant-Man and the Wasp,Captain Marvel,Endgame, andWandaVision. Bartek’swork onWandaVisionearned her a nominationfor Outstanding Period And/Or Character Hairstyling at the 2021 Emmys. This is Bartek’s fourth Emmy nomination. She previously received nominations for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Series in 2002, 2003, and 2004 for her work onAlias.
Olsen previously revealed that the version of Wanda that will appear inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswilldiffer from the woman viewers saw inWandaVisionearlier this year. Following the grief that Wanda has endured over the past few Marvel projects, the possibilities brought upon by the opening of the Multiverse will certainly begin to take a toll on the Scarlet heroine. In the finale ofWandaVision, Wanda gained a new surge of power after tricking Agatha Harkness and draining her magic. Wanda officially takes the form of the Scarlet Witch and, as Agatha mentioned earlier in the series, this puts Wanda in the position to unleash a much more dangerous form of her chaos magic.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswill follow the events ofWandaVision,Loki, and the heavily anticipatedSpider-Man: No Way Home. With the hype surrounding the third installment ofSpider-Man, many fans are hoping thatDoctor Strange 2will live up to expectations. The details forthe Multiverse of Madnessare being kept under wraps but it has all the makings of a quality Marvel movie. AstheSpider-Mantrailer has shown, Doctor Strange will likely make his own mistakes that he will have to try and correct in his own sequel. With Wanda and Loki having an opportunity to redeem themselves and potentially confronting more dangerous versions of themselves, there are endless possibilities for what the film may bring.
