Apex Legends Mobile’s Launch Time and Character Roster
It has been confirmed thatApex Legends Mobileis set to launch on May 17for both iOS and Android devices. Considering the title was initially teased in May 2019, fans are excited to finally get their hands on the game after three years of anticipation. In total,Apex Legends Mobileis set to contain 10 playable Legends at launch. Long-time fans will recognize a large majority of these characters from the console and PC versions ofApex Legends, with only one of them being new and mobile exclusive.
Returning characters fromApex Legendsare Bangalore, Caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Mirage, Pathfinder, Octane, Wraith, and Bloodhound. Despite this being a rather limited roster when considering the 21 playable legends in the other versions ofApex, it is safe to assume that other characters will be added as time passes.
The tenth mobile-exclusive Legend that is set tolaunch withApex Legends Mobileis called Fade. Fade is a human male Legend known as the “Phasing Punisher.” A lot of Fade’s abilities will seemingly be centered around high-paced agility, with many of them reportedly being leaked prior to launch. According to these leaks, Fade’s passive ability will be called Slipstream, allowing him a movement speed boost after sliding. Fade’s tactical ability is Flash Back, which will allow him to “rewind” his movement akin to Tracer inOverwatch. These leaks also suggest that Fade’s ultimate ability is Phase Chamber, which can send nearby legends to the Void.
