The franchise fits the post-apocalyptic theme Chapter 5 Season 3 is going for, with the collaboration expected to come in the next season very soon.
The Twitch streamer Swearintweeted a pictureof a toyFortnitevehicle that has yet to be released. “Fortnitesent me a car inspired by one of the new vehicles for next season,” Swearin said in the tweet. Depicted in the post is a red tow-truck toy car with a black cogwheel on its sides and engine exhausts peeking out of the hood and side-skirts. The vehicle has a sleek design for a truck, and paired with it is a license plate with the letters “EAT NTRO," possibly in reference to thetheme of the nextFortniteseason.
Chapter 5 Season 3 Will Be a Post-Apocalyptic Theme for Fortnite
Live events inFortnitehave been teasing the release of Chapter 5 Season 3 for some time now. The most recent of which showedZeus’s lighting striking Pandora’s Box, sinking it to the bottom of the Styx River. A blinking red light hovers over the horizon now, spelling out “no hope” in Morse code. Pandora’s Box has long been associated with the apocalypse, whose in-game counterpart serves as a great way forFortniteto transition into the next season.
Fans don’t have much time left toprepare for the nextFortniteseason. A long list of quests to complete has been rolling out since March 8, which players can use to catch up in the Battle Pass. The current Myths & Mortals season contains a lot of Greek-themed skins in the pass that fans might not want to miss out on. Players can look forward to the post-apocalyptic-themed season soon, as they will have until around 1:30 AM ET on May 24 to finish the current Battle Pass. Season quests will be key to getting all the XP needed to complete the pass before the next season starts. Downtime begins around 2am ET, with matchmaking usually disabled 30 minutes prior.
