Batmanfans have been able to play as their favorite caped crusader inFortnitefor a while now, but moreBatmancontent may be coming soon. Batman was added toFortniteback in Season 6, but according to a leaker, a new crossover event will be coming to the game.
According to aFortniteleaker known as Shiina on Twitter,BatmanxFortnitewill happen on October 16, taking place during the DC FanDome Livestream. According to Shiina, the crossover event will likely have something to do with aBatmancomic that releases on October 26. RecentBatman/Fortnite: Zero Pointcomics have crossed over withFortniteand have added to the plot of the game.

Shiina noted that the upcomingBatmanxFortnitecrossover event may be related to the upcoming movie instead of the comic.The Batmanis set to release early next year, starring Barry Keoghan and Robert Pattinson. Shiina didn’t specify whether the event will coincide with the ongoingFortnitestory about the invading aliens. Other DC heroes being represented during Season 7 ofFortniteinclude Beast Boy, Raven, and Superman.
Shiina is a knownFortniteleaker and has unveiled details ahead of time in the past. Shiina has previously gotten information about battle passes, new seasons, skins, and more correct. The leakers' reliability doesn’t ensure the validity of the newBatmanxFortnitecrossover event, but the information has more substance to it than if they hadn’t gotten things right in the past. Shiina has also suggested that Epic Games is working onNarutoandnewSuicide Squadcosmetics.
According to Shiina’s recent leak, the newBatmanxFortnitecrossover event will take place during the next season of the game.FortniteSeason 7comes to a close on September 12, and it just received one of its final patches going into the new season. Epic Games has teased future content in dialog options and environmental storytelling to set upFortniteSeason 8 but hasn’t confirmed theBatmanxFortnitecrossover.
Being thatFortnite x Batmanleads to an upcoming comic book and there’s a new movie coming out soon, the three projects could all be related.The Batmanmay be teased in the comic book and inFortnitebattle royale alike. IfBatmanxFortniteends up happening during the next season,Batmanfans may be greeted with a new skin or a variant to their existing ones.
