SomeFortniteplayers have reported that they’ve experienced earthquakes near certain named locations, which is then normally followed by vines growing out of the cracks that appear on the ground. This can certainly seem unusual at first, but it’s likely that this could be related to the start of Chapter 4 Season 3. It is still unknown what the theme for the upcoming season will be, but various leaks have already surfaced, and they indicate the existence of a jungle biome, a new mud texture, and thereturn of Raptors toFortniteas rideable creatures.
On top of the phenomena, there is more evidence that backs up the idea that the upcomingFortniteseason will be jungle themed. Many players believe that this all adds to the theory thatFortniteis going back in time, and reliving old season themes in reverse. MEGA Season was undoubtedly focused on a more futuristic theme, just like Chapter 1 Season 9, and the upcoming season might focus on a wild, jungle theme, just like Chapter 1 Season 8. Some gamers believe that there is a dormant volcano at Windcatch Lake, east of Mega City. Perhaps the earthquakes will cause the volcano to erupt, which would create another parallel with Chapter 1 Season 8.
