The light blinks in morse code, “no hope,” which has appeared since the live event that took place on May 16.

Fortnitedropped a new piece of key art on its Twitter account, detailing several new skins that could be coming in the next season. Among them are a new Bright Bomber skin, a peapod-like skin, Magneto, and several other skins wearingMad Max-style armor. A driveable battle bus is also included in the key art, revealing its return to the map. The reveal of Magneto confirms a leak from Hypex on Twitter thatmore Marvel collabs inFortnitewill be featured.

The name of Chapter 5 Season 3 is Wrecked, and it comes with a dusty post-apocalyptic theme. When asked, theEpic Games vice president described the themein a tweet with the word “Nitro.” Later, certainFortnitecreators received toy cars with a license plate reading “EAT NTRO,” echoing the vice president’s teaser. Vehicles with equippable weapons are also confirmed to be coming to the game.

ThenewFortnite season is expected to comeafter scheduled downtime at 2 AM Eastern Time on Jun 14, 2025. Matchmaking is to be disabled around 1:30 AM Eastern Time on Jun 15, 2025. Players will not be able to take part in online play after this time, soFortnitefans should try and finish their Battle Passes before then. The update is expected to come with a collaboration withFallout, after theFortniteTwitter account teased the T-60 Power Armor coming to the game.

CertainPOIs inFortniteare expected to be removed, with Mount Olympus, Ruined Reels, Fencing Fields, and The Underworld getting cut. It’s currently unknown why these regions will disappear from the island. However, the sandstorm approaching may have something to do with it. In theFalloutteaser, the POI Snooty Stepps appears to be affected by sand, which seems to be one of several locations being changed by the update.
