Fortniteis an online experience that is always evolving and changing. In addition to the new content, many longtimeFortniteplayers are interested in seeing how the game changes from season to season, much of which can be seen through thenew locations and updates made to the coreFortnitemap. During the current season, many players need to find something called The Apparatus to complete a secret quest with items known as Prisms. Here is where players can find The Apparatus inFortnite.
Where Is The Apparatus in Fortnite?
As many players may have assumed, The Apparatus is actually a new landmark location on the current WildsFortnitemap. Previously known as Hidden Henge, update 25.00 inFortnitesaw the area essentially collapse, exposing the ruins below. Players can find this area to the Northwest of MEGA City, east of Rumble Ruins, or Southeast of Creeky Compound. In fact,Fortniteplayers can also find the NPC character Tracehere as well and can trade gold bars for gear like a Thermal DMR, Cloak Gauntlets, or a Tactical Pistol.
What to do at The Apparatus
While exploringFortnite’s map during the Wilds season, player may come across items called Prisms, typically found inside of the Jungle biome area. Like most things found inFortnite, prisms can be interacted with which kicks off a secret quest tasking players to bring them to The Apparatus. Prisms look like a little gemstone or crystal and players should explore ruins-like structures in the Jungle to find them. Once obtained, players should head back to The Apparatus and find Trace on the roof, where the prism can be turned in for a good chunk of XP.
