Announced in a tweet on February 16, theForzasupport team detailed a hotfix for several bugs and crashes inForza Horizon 5. For the PC version of the game, two issues were resolved that had caused players' games to crash including the first which could occur when racing The Colossus. The second crash was particularly frustrating for high-level players, as it occurred when a player with a high number of cars in the garage started their game. This issue was mostly affecting rich players who would probably rather spend their time checking outthe 10 most expensive cars inForza Horizon 5instead of rebooting their game.
Developer Playground Games identified a few other issues affecting the games' performance and reputation across all platforms. A visual issue that caused the bumper of the Audi TT RS Sport to disappear was addressed, a problem that likely impeded on players' immersion. Playground Games also changed some restrictions in the Festival Playlist, to make them more appropriate to the countries being represented. However, players have also managed to discover all kinds of additional exploits inForza Horizon 5that affect more than just the gameplay. Recently,Forza Horizon 5received an update to fix an exploit that let players get a ton of free wheelspins. This particular issue was discovered after players realized they could purchase a relatively cheap car named the 1945 Willys MB Jeep, earn a handful of Skill Points, and get a Super Wheelspin before repeating the process.
The high player count onForza Horizon 5means that gamers are bound to run into these types of minor issues and glitches eventually. Thankfully, Playground Games keeps a close eye on these kinds of problems, and the developers often highlighthighlight upcoming fixes and updates forForza Horizon 5.
Forza Horizon 5is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
