Constellations are a big force inGenshin Impact, especially for 4-star characters. They can completely change a unit’s kit and make them more versatile into playing more roles and even performing their job better. For example, Hu Tao is already great at C0. But once she gets her C1, she becomes a completely different Pyro monster that can swoosh all over the field.
As for Beidou, she’s definitely a fan favorite because of her personality and aesthetic. But that doesn’t add anything toGenshin Impact’s gameplay since what important is to understand if Beidou can perfectly operate at C0, or need her Constellations to perform.

Are Beidou’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Beidou isn’t agood character at C0 inGenshin Impact. Her Constellations grant her all that she’s missing to become a force to be reckoned with. However, players don’t have to wait long to get all of Beidou’s Constellations since her C1 and C2 are the stars of her kit. Both Constellations give Beidou the offensive and defensive force her teammates need to improve their performance. All in all, yes,Beidou’s Constellations are worth itinGenshin Impact.
C1 - Sea Beast’s Scourge
C1 Beidou has one ofthe best passives a 4-star can have inGenshin Impact. When Beidou cast her Elemental Burst, she will create a shield that protects her team for 15 seconds with a decent chunk of her HP. That shield is super important since it can effectively block incoming attacks, especially Electro.
C2 - Upon the Turbulent Sea, the Thunder Arises
The second Constellation of Beidou is as important as her first one. While the first improves Beidou’s survivability, the second greatly enhances herElemental Burst inGenshin Impact, boosting her off-field DMG.
C4 - Stunning Revenge
C4 Beidou doesn’t bring anything to the table for many reasons. First, Beidou won’t be using her Normal attacks, and even if she did, it’s not an appealing addition to her DMG. The Constellation doesn’t infuse Beidou’s attacks with Electro, it just adds an extra Electro multiplier that inflicts a tiny number. It’s better for Beidou to operate as an off-fieldGenshin impactSub-DPSthat can wreck enemies without having to step on the field.
C6 - Bane of Evil
C6 Beidou gets another offensive passive that further increases her DMG. Beidou’s performance with otherElectro users inGenshin Impactincredibly improves after getting her C6.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
