Il Dottore ofGenshin Impactis the Second of the Fatui Harbingers, making him the strongest Harbinger next to Pierro. Having made his official appearance in the game during the Sumeru update, players are eager to see whether HoYoverse will make him playable. The leaks surrounding his character certainly point to it.
Genshin Impactleaks are a staple in the community. They come out in droves after every update, showcasing character art, kits, and other quest data that otherwise shouldn’t be available to the public yet. Dottore, of course, has his fair share of leaks, especially since he’s just recently played a primary antagonistic role in the game.

Genshin Impact Dottore Leaks
One leak showcased what appears to beDottore’s factory inGenshin Impact. Its dark interior and all the machinery within are reminiscent of Dottore’s hideout filled with Ruin Guards from Tartaglia’s Story Quest. Players theorize that the area is a Domain that comes out in update 3.2.
A more recent leak unveilsDottore’sGenshin Impactcharacter model. This was shared by user BLANK, a well-known leaker, on Twitter. Based on his blue and white color scheme, players theorize he’ll be a Cryo-user. Additionally, BLANK has stated that Dottore will be wielding a Claymore. User UBatcha, another leaker, has said the same thing.
In regard to his model design, players find his closeup at the top right of the image quite strange. To date, the community has yet to see Dottore’s eyes. Some have even pointed out that the blindfold beneath the mask looks similar to the eyes ofGenshin Impact’s Ruin Guards. Whatever it is, perhaps HoYoverse will reveal more in the coming updates, or maybe the leakers will get to it first.
Another story leak involves Dottore’s relationship with Scaramouche. According to user VNTa Leak, Dottore was always aware that Scaramouche was Ei’s discarded puppet. The Doctor then made Scaramouche his “experimental subject.” VNTa Leak hints that it was Dottore who killed Scaramouche’s old friends, causing him to seek vengeance against the world. This has major implications forScaramouche’sGenshin Impactcharacteras it could mean that Dottore manipulated him into joining the Fatui. It also explains why, in the Harbinger trailer, the Doctor didn’t seem at all worried that the Wanderer had gone missing with the Electro Gnosis.
Future Genshin Impact Leaks
Admittedly, these are the only leaks surrounding Dottore at the moment. Many players speculate that he’ll be released as a playable character in 2023, certainly long after Scaramouche. However, the community is pretty unhappy with how HoYoverse handled hischaracter in the recentGenshin Impact3.2 update. In his confrontation with Nahida, the Doctor bargains for the Electro Gnosis, and the Dendro Archon agrees to hand it over but only if he destroys the rest of his clones or, as he refers to them, his “segments.”
Dottore agrees toNahida’s terms in theGenshin Impactquest, and the player base can’t help but think that it was a waste to build up his character around the segments, only to get rid of them barely three updates into the new region. Unfortunately, there aren’t any new leaks confirming or denying that his segments are all gone. Some players believe that he managed to trick the god of wisdom somehow, while others are chalking it up to bad writing.
Whatever the case, the community is likely to find leaks surrounding both Dottore’s playable character model and the status of his segments in the next few months. Given that HoYoverse is still promotingFaruzan and the Wanderer ofGenshin Impact, it’ll most likely be a while before the developer moves on to promoting the Doctor or any of the unreleased Harbingers, for that matter.
