Given its nature as a 1-Star Material, Maple Wood is relatively easy to locate and acquire. In fact, players will likely need to spend more time frequenting its spawn points to cut it down for multiple sets in order to be able to maximize its usage.

Where Is Maple Wood Located?

Similar to other region-specific materials in the vast open world ofGenshin Impact, Maple Wood comes from theMaple Tree, which appears similar to how maple trees look in real life. They stand out from usual trees in the game due to its red leaves. And similar to other materials that are located in specific regions, Maple Trees have a specific site in Inazuma where they are located. Players may find them in two sites:

Yashitori Island

This central portion of Inazuma is notable in the overworld map particularly for its yellowish patch compared to the rest of the land, which is green. This part ofYashitori Islandactually covers three (3) distinct areas:Higi Village, Musoujin Gorge,andSerpent’s Head. Players who are looking for Maple Trees may want to look in this particular yellow patch as Maple Trees are scattered here, but are largely absent in the rest of the continent.

The rather isolatedRitou Villageis surprisingly filled with Maple Trees, unlike other ordinary trees that grow around other villages and settlements in Inazuma. There are around 21 trees in total scattered all around Ritou Village, giving players plenty of Maple Wood to source should they want to crafts specific maple-themed Furnishings for their settlement.
