Thankfully, players are able to farm Maple Wood quite efficiently once they know where to look for them. However, just where should players look for Maple Wood to maximize their gathering sessions?
What Is Maple Wood?
As with most materials players can find inGenshin Impact,Maple Woodis a derivative of Wood found particularly in Inazuma, home of the Electro Archon, theGenshin ImpactSword-userRaiden Shogun. Maps Wood is characterized for its rather warmer appearance compared to typical wood, in that it has pinkish hues and maple leaves attached to them instead of typical green grass or leaves.
Given its nature as a 1-Star Material, Maple Wood is relatively easy to locate and acquire. In fact, players will likely need to spend more time frequenting its spawn points to cut it down for multiple sets in order to be able to maximize its usage.
Where Is Maple Wood Located?
Similar to other region-specific materials in the vast open world ofGenshin Impact, Maple Wood comes from theMaple Tree, which appears similar to how maple trees look in real life. They stand out from usual trees in the game due to its red leaves. And similar to other materials that are located in specific regions, Maple Trees have a specific site in Inazuma where they are located. Players may find them in two sites:
Yashitori Island
This central portion of Inazuma is notable in the overworld map particularly for its yellowish patch compared to the rest of the land, which is green. This part ofYashitori Islandactually covers three (3) distinct areas:Higi Village, Musoujin Gorge,andSerpent’s Head. Players who are looking for Maple Trees may want to look in this particular yellow patch as Maple Trees are scattered here, but are largely absent in the rest of the continent.

Ritou Village
The rather isolatedRitou Villageis surprisingly filled with Maple Trees, unlike other ordinary trees that grow around other villages and settlements in Inazuma. There are around 21 trees in total scattered all around Ritou Village, giving players plenty of Maple Wood to source should they want to crafts specific maple-themed Furnishings for their settlement.
How To Farm Maple Wood?
Thankfully, farming Maple Wood isn’t exactly difficult in the world ofGenshin Impact. When players locate a maple tree in any of the aforementioned locations,Genshin Impactplayers simply need to hit it with their weapon. Unlike other farming sims, trees inGenshin Impactdon’t necessarily need players to equip sophisticated tools, making gathering a much easier task.
to spice things up, players may want to use a new character they’ve acquired in order to practice their moves onto maple trees to make the gathering session more productive. The trees themselves won’t fall off after players extract the wood they can. However, the tree will simply cease responding to the player’s hits. Instead, players may want to leave maple trees for a few minutes and go back in order to successfully farm the tree again.

Players interested in using Maple Wood for their settlements inGenshin Impactwould be delighted in knowing that, similar to its home region, Maple Wood Furnishings and Items are almost exclusively visually reminiscent of Inazuma.
