Genshin Impactupdates are almost always divided into two parts, each of which includes a different set of limited items. The limited items can be obtained by wishing on a specific banner.
Each update has two weapon banners which include two five-star and five four-star items. The first weapon banner four update 2.8 introduced two strong five-star weapons, Freedom Swon and Lost Prayer. A newGenshin Impactleak apparently reveals the two five-star weapons that should arrive in the second part of the update.

A credibleGenshin Impactleaker named hxg_diluc has revealed the two five-star weapons which should arrive on the second banner cycle. The live stream event for 2.8 has already confirmed that the second part of the update will introduce the firstre-run for popular Pyro bow user Yoimiya. According to hxg_diluc, Yoimiya’s weapon banner will feature the following five-star items: Thundering Pulse and Summit Sharper. Both of these weapons are a great choice for the game’s DPS and sub-DPS characters.
Thundering Pulse is considered one of, if not thebest bows inGenshin Impact. It’s a great fit for every DPS bow character in the game as it includes Crit Damage as the secondary stat. The weapon’s passive increases the holder’s Attack by 20% and grants a special effect called Thunder Emblem. The effect has three stacks which increase the character’s Normal Attack damage by 12-40% based on the number of stacks. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that Thundering Pulse serves as Yoimiya’s signature weapon, even though it has a completely different design.
The second weapon, Summit Sharper, is one of the oldest swords in the game as it was introduced back in December 2020. It’s considered an A-tier sword that can be used by almost any character in the game. The weapons passive increases shield strength by 20% which makes it a great choice for theGeo sword user Albedo. Attacking an opponent will also increase the character’s Attack by 4% for 8 seconds. This effect is limited to five stacks and its power is doubled if the character is protected by a shield.
Multiple replies in the comment section claim that, even though there is no information about the new four-star items, this will be one of the best weapon banners in a long time. This could be HoYoverse’s way of compensating for placing only one character banner re-run in the second part ofGenshin ImpactVersion 2.8.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
