How Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Safe House Improves Upon Cold War’s

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Safe House Encourages Exploration

Introduced inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Safe Houseis essentially an in-game and in-universe hub that players return to after each main mission in the campaign. InCold War, the Safe House was located in West Berlin, close to a lot of the campaign’s most important locales. The Safe House is making a triumphant return inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, but this time it’s experienced a few big improvements, the first of which is undoubtedly its new location.

InCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, players will have access to a new Safe House located in an abandoned manor that stands on the top of an oceanside cliff. This abandoned manor used to be a KGB black site during the Cold War, where the Soviet Union would secretly detain high-value targets. As such,Black Ops 6’s Safe Househas a lot more natural intrigue about it than the one inCold War.

Players will be able to exploreCall of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Safe House freely between missions, and discover a range of collectibles that provide more information on the Safe House’s KGB background. It also seems likely thatBlack Ops 6’s Safe House will be home to a few funCall of DutyEaster eggs and secrets, asCold War’s contained a hidden computer terminal that was filled with tidbits of lore and references to the rest of the series.

The Evidence Board Will Be The Focal Point of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Safe House

Duringthe recentCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Direct, it was also briefly mentioned that the main point of interest in this new Safe House would once again be the Evidence Board. InCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Evidence Board gave players intriguing details related to each story mission before letting them launch into the action. In theBlack Ops 6Direct, it was stated that this new version of the Evidence Board would feature “brand new upgrades,” though it wasn’t made clear just what these upgrades would be in the final product.
