Just this past Friday, Sony put out a new blog post on the official PlayStation Blog to reveal that a newState of Playpresentation is on the way. Today is the day of the big presentation, and it’s an understatement to say that many fans are excited.
While the gaming giant hasn’t revealed exactly what will be shown during the live broadcast (that would ruin the surprise), it has been confirmed that the PlayStation VR2 exclusive title,Horizon Call of the Mountain, will be making an appearance in some capacity. Besides that, it’s all up in the air.

What Time is the State of Play Today
Sony’s June 2022 State of Play will premiere at 3 PM Pacific / 4 PM MT / 5 PM CT / 6 PM Eastern / 12 AM CETand will have a runtime of about 30 minutes.Sony promises to show fans some “exciting reveals” from third-party partners and some titles in development for thenext PS VR headset. 30 minutes gives Sony plenty of time to deliver some surprising announcements and teases.
Where to Watch the State of Play
As for where fans canwatch the State of Play, they can either go to the official Sony account on Twitch or on YouTube. Both streams have been embedded below for PlayStation fans to check out:
Just as a forewarning, it’s normal forTwitch streamsto be a few seconds ahead of the ones on YouTube. If someone really cares about seeing the big announcements first, try to stick to Twitch. However, YouTube works just as well.

What Will be Shown During the State of Play
According to the official PS Blog post where the State of Play date was shared, Sony is planning on showing off some major third-party games, as well as new games in development for PlayStation VR2. Other than that, there’s a chance that a new trailer forFinal Fantasy 16could show up.
God of War Ragnarokfrom Santa Monica is in development and is still slated for this year, so there’s definitely a chance for it to appear, too. There’s alsoHogwarts Legacyfrom Avalanche Software; the open-world RPG is set to launch this winter, but there has not been a set date just yet.
