This was confirmed by the TT Games Twitter account, responding to a tweet from an interview in 2019 between TT Games designer Mike Consalvey and HipHopGamer. In the interview, Consalvey seems to confirm that character customization will be inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but the TT Games Twitter clarified that plans changed during development. Sometime between the 2019 interview and now, the decision was made to cut character customization, though an exact reason why wasn’t provided by theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagadevelopers.
Some fans may be disappointed to learn thatLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill not have character customization, but the bright side is there will be no shortage of characters to choose from. Besides the 300+LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagacharacters that will be available in the base game, even more playable characters will be added as DLC. And as a matter of fact, the curtain has already been pulled back on what fans can expect fromLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker SagaDLC characters.
