As players progress through their adventure inLies of P, they will find themselves collecting a precious resource called Ergo. This deep blue-colored essence is used to upgrade weapons, purchase items, and most importantly, level up. P will need to grow stronger and add points into special attribute areas if players want to make it through some of the most imposing enemies in Krat.
When leveling up, players will have the option to put points into one of six separate attributes. These attributes affect a variety of things from weapon damage, to defense, to carrying capacity, and more. Players will have to be aware of what “path” they want to head down inLies of P, as certain weapons are affected by specific attributes and gain a bonus from them that will boost their overall damage. What Is The Stat Soft Cap In Lies Of P?
It appears thatthe soft cap for leveling up a stat in Lies of P sits at approximately 60 before players will begin to see incredibly diminished returns. As players level up their stat points, they will start to notice that each level-up appears to offer less of a return on investment over time, with higher-level stats (40+) only providing one or two small bumps to the stat numbers with each subsequent level.
When it comes to leveling up Vigor (the stat responsible for Stamina), players have suggested that 30 is an optimal stopping point, giving players adequate Stamina to use for all types of weapons, as well as enough Stamina to attack freely and dodge often.

Vitality
The Vitality stat line is responsible forincreasing a P’s overall health and Guard Regain. The more points that a player has in their Vitality bar, the more overall health they will have. Players can also increase Vitality through the use of special amulets.When increasing Vitality, players will add Health, Guard Regain, and points in Physical, Fire, Elec Blitz, and Acid Defense.
Vigor
The Vigor stat linewill give P additional points in their Stamina, giving them more sprinting time, as well as more weapon attacks and dodges overall. The lower the stamina bar, the faster players will need to “rest” before being able to dodge, swing weapons, or sprint.When increasing Vigor, players will add Stamina and points in Physical, Fire, Elec Blitz, and Acid Defense.
Capacity
The Capacity stat lineaffects how much weight P can carry, as well as the amount of his Legion Capacity for his Legion Weapon. If players are carrying too much weight, their dodge roll and movement will be affected.
