Joined by the disembodied head of her boyfriend, Nick, 18-year-old Juliet must save her classmates from the apocalypse and be home in time for her birthday party.
Anew trailerforLollipop Chainsaw RePOPconfirmed the game’s release date to be June 10, 2025. Yoshimi Yasuda also took to Twitter to make the announcement himself, also mentioning that the remaster would be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The trailer also reveals the return of several other characters, including Juliet’s sisters, Cordelia and Rosalind; the Starling trio’s father, Gideon Starling; Juliet’s mentor, Sensei Morikawa; and the “Dark Purveyors” comprising Swan, Zed, Vikke, Mariska, Josey, and Lewis. Many of these voices might sound familiar due toLollipop Chainsaw’s countless Easter eggs.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Slated For September 2024 Release
Lollipop Chainsawwas a collaboration between game designer Goichi Suda (also known as Suda51) and filmmaker James Gunn, who worked onThe Suicide Squadand theGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy. Warner Bros. Entertainment was in charge of the game’s release outside of Japan, allowing Gunn to play a part in designing the story and characters for the universal release. The initial pre-order of the game included bonus outfits for Juliet, including the Pin-Up outfit, Goth Girl outfit, Foxy Funk outfit, and Ash Williams cosplay outfit. It has been confirmed thatLollipop Chainsaw RePOPwill have a total of 30 costumes, including both original and new outfits for Juliet.
BesidesLollipop Chainsaw RePOP, someother titles coming in SeptemberincludeHarry Potter: Quidditch Champions,Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,Prison Architect 2, andMatchbox Driving Adventures.
