A luckyElden Ringplayer received help from an unexpected source in defeating an invader. Similar to some other games made by developer FromSoftware,Elden Ringallows gamers to play with or against other users, and it even has dedicated arenas for fans to engage in PvP action.

Elden Ringalso features an invasion mechanic that allows players to invade others and attempt to disrupt their progress, but some fans have developed clever strategies for defeating the invading user in unusual ways. As an example, oneElden Ringfan makes clever use of the Flame Chariot enemy typeto deal massive damage to the invader and earn victory with ease. On the other hand, some of the incidents are not planned, as one gamer received help from an unusual source in defeating the invading opponent.

A Reddit user MeAlXmEaC has shared a clip featuring their unexpected encounter with an invader, and it features the player getting invaded while trying tobring down a Walking Mausoleum inElden Ring. MeAlXmEaC is successful in bringing it down, and the clip shows them rushing away from the spot, presumably to avoid the debris and find the invading user. The invader is revealed to be right behind MeAlXmEaC, but the Walking Mausoleum falls on top of them, killing them instantly. The luckyElden Ringplayer gets rewarded at the end of the fight, but the battle concluded before the two gamers had a chance to engage in combat.

Many users in the comments section mention that the invading player should have seen it coming, with one fan calling them an idiot for walking right underneath the Walking Mausoleum as it goes down. It appears thatElden Ringfans dislike invaders, with others stating that no amount of vigor would have saved them from this unexpected death.

Walking Mausoleums inElden Ringserve an important purpose, as they can be used to duplicate Remembrances players obtain by defeating bosses. This feature will help users get both of the boss’ weapons, but fans need to first bring them down by shooting or hitting the deposits on their legs. Some users make note of MeAlXmEaC using a bow for this purpose, as it probably makes the process easier. Players can also move around on Torrent and swing at the deposits, but this method seems way more efficient in bringing down Walking Mausoleums inElden Ring.

Elden Ringis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
