As exciting as it was to see the list of heavy-hitters in the Marvel universe, no other superhero generated as much buzz inMarvel’s Midnight Sunsas The Hunter. It’s the first time in Marvel history that a customizable superhero has been used (will all due respect to Mystique, of course).

The Hunter is clearly a way for players to represent themselves inMarvel’s Midnight Suns, interacting with others they’ve come to love and revere over the years. Although the game doesn’t seem to feature The Hunter right away, the character can indeed be unlocked rather quickly.
Unlocking The Hunter
Despite being the undisputed protagonist, players will have to wait for a bit before getting to play with The Hunter. Technically, this is the first character unlocked, but gamers who go through the tutorial will be using the likes of Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Captain Marvel first.

After going through the tutorial (or skipping it), players will be prompted to customize The Hunter. The body type for either the male or female archetype is fixed, but the face, hair, eye color, and skin tone can be swapped out with a few premade designs.
Immediately following Hunter’s acquisition, the superhero will still need to play a few missions before being permitted toedit their decksince they’ll only start with the minimum number of cards without any extras immediately accessible.
This superhero is one of the most versatile in the game and has to be since they will be required to do a variety of missions. Hunter can be customized to focus more on support, damage, or tanking abilities, but the character excels most as a kind of battlefield controller who can push bosses into obstacles and hurl opponents to their doom. Player preference is the most important factor whenupgrading cards, but be aware that some of the missions get very difficult if Hunter isn’t well-designed.
Marvel’s Midnight Sunsis available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
