Minecraft Legendsis a new action-strategy twist on Mojang’s popular sandbox game. Blackbird Interactive and Mojang’s fresh take on the franchise keeps a lot of the same mechanics as its predecessor, including the classic gameplay loop of gathering resources and using those resources to build walls, towers, and other fortifications to defend against the Piglin invaders. Fans should be happy to learn thatMinecraft Legendssees the return of some classic blocks such as Iron, Stone, Redstone, Coal, and of course, Diamonds.
Diamonds inMinecraft Legendsare essential for enhancing the player’s army in the fight against the Piglin. They grant the player the ability to spawn in Skeleton Archers, who are great at keeping the enemy Piglin at bay and are a step up from the base Plank Golem archers. Unlike traditionalMinecraft,Diamonds inMinecraft Legendscan actually be found on the surface of the Overworld and are as simple to gather as ordering a Gather Allay to pick up the resource as players walk by it. However, finding them in the Overworld can still be tricky, and there are a few areas in which players should look.

Where to Find Diamonds in Minecraft Legends
The first place players should look when hunting for Diamonds is theTundra biome. The player’s Overworld map should have the Tundra biome marked as a Diamond-rich environment and should yield a small chunk of Diamonds per vein.
More specifically, players should look toward the base of hills rather than the flat portions of the biome, seeing as the coveted gem has been spotted in the troughs of the Tundra more often than not. However, much likethe originalMinecraft,Minecraft Legendscan be a bit stingy with its Diamond delivery in the Tundra. Still, there is one area where the blue gem grows more frequently and with richer veins.
For a whole treasure trove of Diamonds, players should locate theJagged Peaksbiome on their map and go there. The Jagged Peaks should also be marked as a Diamond-rich biome on the player’s map. Once at the Jagged Peaks, players should scale as many mountains as possible and search the summits.
Generally, these mountain peaks contain huge swathes of Diamond veins that will grant players hundreds of blue gems at a time. Of course,Minecraft Legendsis procedurally generated, and there could be some maps where the Jagged Peaks may not be as Diamond-rich as they could possibly be.
InMinecraft Legends’competitive multiplayer offering, hunting for Diamonds works the same way as in single-player and co-op, except with a slight rebalance. In our findings, we saw that in PvP, the Tundra biome is as Diamond-rich as the Jagged Peaks are by default. This means PvP players can just locate the Tundra biome and start farming the gem there instead of having to scale mountains in the Jagged Peaks and eat into precious time that could be spent building and fortifying their base.
