The Paranormal Liberation Front is the biggest and the most important antagonistic organization in the world ofMy Hero Academia.It was formed by the collaboration betweenthe League of Villains, which the fans are very well familiar with, and the Meta Liberation Army, which became resurgent under Redestro.

After the events of the Meta Liberation War arc,the Paranormal Liberation Frontcame into existence and, ever since then, it has become a key aspect of My Hero Academia and has been driving the plot forward and more ways than one. The Creation Of The Paranormal Liberation Front
The Paranormal Liberation Front came into existence shortly after the events of the Meta Liberation War. In this war, the League of Villains, led by Shigaraki, headed off to fight against the Meta Liberation Army, led by Redestro, in Deika City. This arc saw Shigaraki become the protagonist instead of the antagonist and fans got to witness not just him but also the stories of the entirety of the League of Villains as they became the focus of the plot. The members of the Liberation Army, who were led by Redestro, acted as the antagonistic group and abducted Giran. The league immediately jumped to his rescue and thus broke out the giant war of Meta Liberation.
In this war, a lot of the members of the League of Villains ended up Reawakening their Quirks. Toga found the ability to use the Quirks of those whose blood she ingests. Meanwhile, Twice was able to break through all the mental barriers that he had and replicate himself infinitely. At the same time, Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains, also Reawakened his Quirk and the rate at which he could Decay things also increased drastically. In the end, fans were witnessinga fight between Shigaraki Tomuraand Redestro. This fight ended in the favor of Shigaraki, despite Redestro proving to be extremely powerful.

Eventually, Redestro acknowledged his defeat after losing both his legs, and shortly afterwards, fans saw the League of Villains get revitalized once again. It was announced soon after that the League of Villains had now expanded in size. The leader of the Meta Liberation Army, Rikiya Yotsubashi, announced that he had pledged allegiance to Shigaraki. As such, the entirety of the Meta Liberation Army fell under the command of Tomura. Tomura came up with the new name of Paranormal Liberation Front, which saw the two groups collaborate together. The group became home to several meta ability users and, at the same time, assigned 9 powerful lieutenants.
The Members Of The Meta Liberation Army
As fans know already, the supreme commander of the Paranormal Liberation Front is none other than Shigaraki Tomura, one of the greatest antagonists in the world ofMy Hero Academia.Along with him, Redestro also holds a very high position in the Paranormal Liberation Front. He is the first lieutenant under Shigaraki Tomura and, along with him are other members of the Meta Liberation Army such as Trumpet, Geten, and Skeptic. Along with these four members, there are also the six core members of the League of Villains who take up the positions of six lieutenants. These are Dabi, Toga, Twice, Spinner, and finally, Mr. Compress. All of these lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front are known to be exceptionally powerful. They are dangerous people in their own right and have earned a reputation in the world of My Hero Academia.
Every single one of them is more than capable of fighting against Pro Heroes and even taking them down. Some of them are so powerful that they can bring down multiple Pro Heroes at once. Their leader, Shigaraki, is known to be their biggest strength as he is one of the strongest characters in the entire world of My Hero Academia, if not the strongest. After his surgery, which was led by Dr. Kyudai Garaki, Shigaraki is a force to be reckoned with. His lieutenants have also received several power-ups over the course of the story arcs and currently, in the Final War arc ofMy Hero Academia,all of them have ascended to the next level.
Other than the lieutenants, there are also the warriors of the Paranormal Liberation Front. These warriors include Gigantomachia, Slidin' Go, and Sanctum. Furthermore, this group also has several Nomu under their belt and, as fans have seen on several occasions, the Nomu are terrific fighters, strong enough to incapacitate even the strongest of Pro Heroes if given the opportunity. The Paranormal Liberation Front also has several powerful associates suchas All For One, and Lady Nagant, among others. Truly their influence goes far and beyond in My Hero Academia, and as the story hurtles towards its end, the plotline of the Paranormal Liberation Army will also be completed.
