The village is located in the Land of Earth, and a majority of the ninja use Earth Release in battle. The strongest Stone ninja usually lead the village, while others are closely affiliated with the leadership. Others possess strong kekkei genkai abilities or a Tailed Beast.
10Akatsuchi
Known As The Village’s Shield, Body Guard For The 3rd & 4th Tsuchikage
Akatsuchi is a jonin, and his skills were held in such high regard that he was chosen to guardthe 3rd Tsuchikageand his successor. He seems to always be cheerful and somewhat childish, but he is level-headed and methodical during battle. Akatsuchi is extremely loyal to the 3rd Tsuchikage, and he hardly ever left his side. As a result, he was named Onoki’s shield.
Akatsuchi is a large man, but he is very fast, and it is said that no one in the Stone Village can match his physical strength. He specializes in Earth Release, and he often molds a rock golem that can attack and trap his enemies.
9Gari
Member Of The Village’s Explosion Corps, Possessed The Explosion Release Kekkei Genkai
Gari was resurrected duringthe 4th Great Ninja War, which means that Kabuto believed he was one of the most skilled ninja of his time. He was part of the Stone Village’s Explosion Corps, which is understandable since he possessed the Explosion Release kekkei genkai. When he was alive, Gari was considered difficult and bad-tempered.
Thanks to his kekkei genkai, Gari’s chakra gained explosive qualities, and he incorporated it into his offensive taijutsu. If his fist were to touch someone, the contact would trigger a powerful explosion that would obliterate his target. His opponents could not even block his strikes because they would still explode. This power made it almost impossible to fight Gari in hand-to-hand combat.
8Kitsuchi
The Son Of The 3rd Tsuchikage, 2nd Division Commander Of The Allied Shinobi Forces
Kitsuchi is the 3rd Tsuchikage’s son, and he is a very capable jonin. He was selected to lead the Second Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces - which consisted of thousands of ninja who specialized in close-range combat. This appointment shows that the Five Kage all recognized his strength and leadership skills.
He killed dozens of White Zetsu clones by himself, and he was able to deliver a powerful punch that sent Kinkaku back a fair distance. Kinkaku possessedthe Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra, and at the time, he was using the Fox’s six-tailed form. Kitsuchi can create massive rock formations, and he used this technique to briefly sandwich the Gedo Statue.
7Roshi
Jinchuriki Of The Four-Tails, Could Use Lava Release & Tailed Beast Transformation
Roshi becamethe Jinchuriki of the Four-Tailswhen he was very young, and he possessed the Tailed Beast’s chakra for over four decades. He did not have full control over the Four-Tails, but he was still able to use the Tailed Beast Ball, and he could fully transform into it.
Roshi could use Lava Release - a kekkei genkai that allowed him to shoot molten rocks from his mouth. He could also coat his body with lava, which enhanced the damage of his physical attacks. Roshi forced Kisame to take their fight seriously, which is impressive since Kisame had comparable chakra reserves and a sword that consumed all forms of chakra.
6Han
Jinchuriki Of The Five-Tails, Mastered Steam Ninjutsu, Was A Top Taijutsu Fighter
Han was the Jinchuriki of the Five-Tails, and during the 3rd Great Ninja War, he was partnered with Roshi. He could not fully control his Tailed Beast, but he could still use the Tailed Beast Ball, and he used it against Jiraiya’s squad during the war. Fortunately, Minato teleported everyone away.
Han became very well known because he combined steam ninjutsu with taijutsu. Thanks to Boil Release, Han’s chakra boiled to extreme temperatures, and he used the steam to severely enhance his physical strength and the force of his attacks. When he was alive, many considered Han’s taijutsu to be the fastest in the world.
5Deidara
The Akatsuki’s Explosives Expert, Defeated The 5th Kazekage & The Three-Tails
Deidara wasthe youngest member of the Akatsuki, and he served as the organization’s explosives expert. He grew up in the Stone Village, and was part of the Explosion Corps because he possessed the Explosion Release kekkei genkai. Unlike Gari, Deidara infused his explosive chakra into clay - which he sculpted into figures with the mouths in his hands.
He would animate these figures and detonate them from afar. This implies that Deidara is strictly a ranged fighter, but he was able to fend off Guy and his team when he had no arms and just a kunai in his mouth. Deidara’s explosions are extremely powerful, and he used them to defeat the 5th Kazekage - who was a Jinchuriki, and a fully powered Three-Tails.
4Ishikawa
Founded The Stone Village, A Powerful Insect User
Ishikawa founded the Hidden Stone Village and served as the 1st Tsuchikage. He was a composed individual with many years of experience, and the other original Kage considered him an equal. Not much is known about Ishikawa’s abilities, but he was strong enough to bring all the clans in the Land of Earth together.
He was an exceptional Earth Release user, but he was also part of the Kamizuru Clan - who specialized in insects. Unlike the Leaf Village’s Aburame Clan, the Kamizuru incorporated bees into their unique fighting style.
3Kurotsuchi
Became The 4th Tsuchikage, Trapped An Otsutsuki, The Best Genjutsu User Of The Current Five Kage
Kurotsuchi is the granddaughter of the 3rd Tsuchikage, and she became the 4th Tsuchikage when he finally retired.She is a strong ninjawho can create protective domes with Earth Release, and she can eliminate multiple enemies at once with stone pillars and spikes that emerge from the ground.
She can also use a type of Lava Release which allows her to create quicklime. By the time she became the Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi mastered this quicklime to the point that she could use it to restrain Kinshiki Otsutsuki. According toBoruto: Naruto the Movienovelization, she is the best genjutsu user of the current Five Kage.
2Mu
The Village’s 2nd Tsuchikage, Could Mask His Presence & Use Dust Release
Mu served as Ishikawa’s bodyguard, and he later succeeded him as the Stone Village’s 2nd Tsuchikage. He had a rivalry with the 2nd Mizukage, and they ended up killing each other during their final battle. Mu could bend light with water vapour, which allowed him to become invisible. This ability completely erased his presence and chakra signature.
He was a highly skilled sensor-type ninja who could sense chakra from miles away, and he could split himself into two duplicates to avoid fatal attacks. Mu was presumably the first person to ever use Dust Release, an extremely rare Nature Transformation that allows him to disintegrate anything.
1Onoki

Onoki was Mu’s student, and he was the grandson of the 1st Tsuchikage. He became the 3rd Tsuchikage after Mu’s death, and he held the title for decades. Onoki was 79 when he fought in the 4th Great Ninja War, but he was still a powerful and effective ninja.
He was the only known living person at the time who could use Dust Release. This Nature Transformation allowed him to create and fire three-dimensional objects that would expand and disintegrate anything caught inside. He was able to stop a meteor with Gaara’s help, and he survived a second meteor that killed thousands. Even Madara Uchiha himself admitted that Onoki was trouble because of his decades of combat experience.
