Since its release in early 2018,Dragon Ball FighterZhas suffered many issues with its online implementation. From issues with the delay-based netcode to network issues persisting for multiple months. One of the biggest issues with the game’s online implementation since launch has been the lack of any consequence for rage quitters, leading some players to exploit the game’s online mode to make it to the top of its ranked leaderboards. Thankfully, after two and a half years, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have implemented major consequences to players who purposely disconnect from fights inDragon Ball FighterZ.

In the newest news update, visiblewhen bootingDragon Ball FighterZ’s online mode, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works detail the consequences being implemented to players caught deliberately disconnecting from matches multiple times. The first strike of rage quitting will see players disconnected to the game’s online lobbies for one week, restricting them from participating inDragon Ball FighterZ’s online modes. These players will still be able to participate in the game’s offline modes. However, the message warns that repeat offenders could see outright permanent bans from the game’s online modes altogether.
