After years of waiting, fans are finally able to experienceNew Pokemon Snapwith a completely updated cast of characters from the original game. The game is full ofhidden secrets surrounding many Pokemon, some of which are tasked for players to discover in the form of requests.
Theserequests inNew Pokemon Snaprange in difficulty, with some being mind-numbingly easy or requiring a number of confusing steps. The quest “A Quaking Volcano” is a quest given to gamers by Phil after they have reached a level three research level in the volcano. Fans are asked to investigate a really loud noise by Tyrantrum without any clear instructions on what happened.

While it is fun to watch some of the most popular fire Pokemon in the series, this quest could prove frustrating for some people. Unlike other requests, this mission involves other Pokemon and some crafty set up to get the perfect photo. One wrong move and gamers will have to start the level all over again. So forNew Pokemon Snapfans looking to check off another request from their list of things to do, here is a guide on how to complete the quest.
A Quaking Volcano Request in New Pokemon Snap
At the beginning of the course, fans will need tothrow an Illumina Orbat one of the two Monfernos on top of the rocks at the magma path. If successful, both of them should jump off of the rocks and enter the nearby cave. Once inside the cave, gamers should notice the two Monfernos playing with each other next to the sleeping Tyrantrum.
To trigger the event, players will need to throw another Illumina Orb at the Monferno on the left to make it jump on top of the Tyrantrum. Throwing one at the Monferno on the right, unfortunately, does nothing. The Tyrantrum should wake up in anger and start chasing the Monferno across the cave. Tyrantrum will eventually hit its head on the cave wall, which happens to be the loud noise that Phil was talking about. Take a picture at this precise moment to complete the quest.
Upon completion, fans will be rewarded with the effect 15 sticker. It is in the shape of what appears to be blue claw marks, which can be used whenediting photos inNew Pokemon Snap.
