Venom: Let There Be Carnagehas released character posters for the upcoming film, which will be releasing this October.Venom: Let There Be Carnagewill be introducing another symbiote into the world by bringing Carnage to the big screen.

Venom: Let There Be Carnageis a follow-up to the previous 2018Venomfilm, which marked Sony’s second live-action version of the popular anti-hero from the Marvel comics. Venom is a widely known character who has made several appearances across different mediums, including video games, movies, television shows, and comic books. He recently appeared in the trailer for Insomniac’s upcomingSpider-Man2video game, and fans have been asking for him to get his own spin-off.

Venomwas a playable character in the widely popularUltimate Spider-Manvideo game, which gave the wall-crawler a very different playstyle that involves more than quicker/fast maneuverability.Venom also had the ability to eator “kill” random pedestrians, which Spider-Manwasn’t able to, and that’s what made the two drastically different for gamers to play in terms of gameplay.

The newVenom: Let There Be Carnagecharacter postersshow all of the main heavy hitters in the movie, which include Carnage, Shriek, Venom, and Anne. For those who don’t know, Anne is the ex-love interest of Eddie Brock who has moved on by finding a new fiance, which adds for comedic or tragic relief in the film. The posters hint at the super-powered side of each character (with the exception of Anne).

Shriek will be making her debut in the sequel and is known in the comics as often being the love interest of Carnage. She’s known for having superpowers that classify her as a mutant character in the comic book world, but it’s unknown if Sony will gothis route for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Regardless, the poster shows the famous scar on her eye.

Venom: Let There Be Carnagewill be bringing in new power players into the fold of the story. Carnage will be a heavy hitter for the antagonistic side of the film, as he’s often used as a foil to Venom.In the comics, it has oftentaken both Spider-Man and Venom to take downthe scarlet symbiote.

Venom: Let There Be Carnagewill be in theaters on October 15th, 2021.
