Summary
One Piececontinued its incredible run in the Egghead island arc as the Buster Call on the future island continues. Oda previously teased a massive event of major proportions on Egghead and that is currently going down. The Egghead incident saw the Marines, led by Admiral Kizaru, and one of the members of the Five Elders, Saint Saturn, surround Egghead Island and blow it to bits, largely in an attempt to kill Vegapunk.
Thanks to the Straw Hat Pirates, Vegapunk was somewhat safe, however, victory for the pirate crew still appeared to be quite difficult. As a result, fans predicted an external force to intervene somehow and aid in the escape of the Straw Hat Pirates. This aid has now come in the form of Drory and Brogy, who fans saw in the previous chapter of One Piece.
Towards the end ofOne Piecechapter 1105, fans saw a mysterious group arrive on Egghead Island. This mysterious group was introduced towards the end of the chapter, where it was revealed that they had destroyed a bunch of Navy vessels. These Navy vessels were originally tracking down the scientists of Egghead who had taken a ship from the island in an attempt to get to safety. Saturn had issued an order to kill these scientists, simply because he wanted to ensure that the information that was uncovered on Egghead died with the assault of the Navy.
However, thankfully for the scientists, a mysterious group arrived on time and decided to destroy the Navy fleet that was gunning for them. At the end of the chapter, the Navy Fleet attemptedto make contact with Admiral Kizaruin an attempt to let him know that the Giant Warrior Pirates had arrived on Egghead. Of course, at the time, fans were not sure about who this mysterious pirate crew was. Most fans predicted this to be the work of the Blackbeard Pirates. This is simply down to the fact that fans already knew that the Blackbeard Pirates were lurking around Egghead Island and that they were going to be involved in the story at some point in time.
Dorry and Brogy’s Arrival On Egghead
One Piecechapter 1106 proved to be absolutely massive for the story in more ways than one and one of the biggest shocks that was delivered by Oda through it was the arrival of Dorry and Brogy. For fans who do not remember, Dorry and Brogy are two of the most intriguing characters that fans met in the Alabasta Saga. Immediately after departing from Whiskey Peak, the Straw Hat Pirates arrived on the island of Little Garden, where two giants were seen fighting a duel that had lasted longer than 100 years.
This duel was quite exciting and, more importantly, it was one that had to be fought to the death. Even after the Straw Hat Pirates left the island, Dorry and Brogy were still on the island and engaged in a massive duel. However, in the Final Saga One Piece, this duel was revealed to have ended. This was first confirmed when Dorry and Broggy were seen on the island of Elbaf during the battle against the Kid Pirates. They were revealed to be allies of Shanks and, together with the Red Hair Pirates, they sank Victoria Punk to the bottom of the ocean.
Of course, when Dorry and Brogy did this, no fan expected them to move towards Egghead Island. However, that is precisely what happened. InOne Piecechapter 1106, it was revealed that the mystery group that had arrived on Egghead recently was none other than that of Dorry and Brogy. It seems that they have not come alone either. Dorry and Brogy have brought together with them to Giant Warrior Pirates, and this entire pirate crew is incredibly powerful, as fans know already. This pirate crew is going to be of massive help to Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, and together, they will now surely manage to escape from the island.
Why Are Dorry And Brogy On Egghead?
Of course, when seeing Dorry and Brogy on Egghead Island, one does wonder as to why they are there in the first place. After all, it does appear to be rather strange that they decided to show up out of nowhere. However, when taking a deeper look at the situation, this isn’t sudden at all. Dorry and Brogy were situated on Elbaf the last time fans saw them. It was already confirmed in the story that Elbaf was quite close to Egghead Island and that it wouldn’t take the Straw Hat Pirates long to get there. As such, the travel distance for Dorry and Brogy would not have been an issue. Added to that is the fact that Dorry and Brogy have an absolutely massive vessel and, as a result, they likely sail much faster than an average ship in theOne Pieceworld.
While all that does well to explain how Dorry and Brogymanaged to reach Egghead, the question of why they came remains unanswered. Thankfully,One Piecechapter 1106 left no stone unturned and decided to answer the question of why they came in the first place. It appears that Dorry and Brogy are on Egghead Island to aid Luffy. They were clearly mentioning this towards the end of the chapter. It appears that both Dorry and Brogy are aware of the fact that Luffy is the Sun God, Nika. Dorry and Brogy are also deeply connected to Nika and know about his legends. As a result, them knowing about the identity of this mysterious God would have led them to Egghead Island, where they are currently fighting against the Marines now.
The job for Dorry and Brogy at hand is to get rid of the Marines and open up a pathway for the Straw Hat Pirates to escape. Both of them are incredibly powerful individuals and, more importantly, they are people who are connected to Joy Boy, in one way or another.
Fans can expect this powerful Giant duo to go wild in the upcoming chaptersand destroy the Buster Call of the Navy. From there onwards, the Giant Warrior Pirates will only grow in the series, as not only will they help the crew escape, but they will also play a prominent role in the upcoming arc of the story, which is Elbaf, and fans know that this arc is going to be crucial for the plot moving forward. Most importantly, fans are incredibly excited to see what knowledge Dorry and Brogy hold about Nika and what prized possessions they hold on Elbaf which could help Luffy reach the Final Island and claim theOne Piece.
