This arc has been incredibly exciting, full of major events that span across all over the world ofOne Piece. With major wars happening throughout the world, it is only natural that the Egghead Island Arc ofOne Piecealso features quite a lot of deaths. While this arc is still ongoing, it has already seen the demise of a lot of characters, some of which are even fan favorites.
5Pythagoras
Pythagoras was introduced to the fans at the very beginning of Egghead and he was labeled as one of the satellites of Vegapunk. Fans know that Vegapunk has six different satellites and these are Shaka, Lilith, Edison, Pythagoras, Atlas, and York. These satellites have been at the center of Egghead Island and, given that the island of the future itself is in turmoil, they have had to fight, which is not their forte.
When the plot concerning the traitor among the satellites was revealed, it was only a matter of time before they started dying one by one. Pythagoras was the very first one to fall and he was killed off by S-Snake. After his main body had been destroyed, the head was stepped upon, resulting in his gruesome death. It has been made clear that Pythagoras cannot be returned to life and, right now, he has been officially declared dead.
4Shaka
Shaka is another satellite of Vegapunk who was introduced to the fans at the beginning of Egghead Island. It is safe to say that out of all the six satellites, Shaka was the most knowledgeable and he dumped quite a lot of lore on the fans as soon as he was introduced. Shaka was also representative of the good side of Vegapunk. He represented logic and was against evil of all types. Shaka was also one of the characters that fans found themselves to get attached to.
This was down to his incredible design, all the way to his extremely interesting and, supposedly, righteous personality. Sadly,Shaka also ended up dyingwhen he was shot right through the head by York, the traitor satellite among the many Vegapunks. A night has already passed since all that happened and he has not been returned to life, meaning that Shaka is also officially dead. The Vegapunks are preparing to leave the island without Shaka.
3King Cobra
The king of that land of Arabasta, Cobra was also heavily involvedin the Egghead Island arc.Technically, he had already died a while ago, however, this information was only presented to the fans during the Egghead Island Arc. It was through Sabo, who arrived on Momoiro Island, that the fans found out about the happenings of the Reverie. When the Revolutionary Army attacked the Holy Land, they freed all the slaves and also managed to successfully rescue Bartholomew Kuma, a former member of the army.

Sabo, specifically, managed to witness a very shocking event, where the Five Elders and Imu themselves spoke to Cobra and questioned him about Queen Lily. Given that Cobra had seen the face of Imu, it was all but certain that he was going to die. That is precisely what ended up happening. Even though Sabo jumped to his aid and tried to rescue him, he failed to do so and ended up being a messenger for Luffy and Vivi. Cobra’s death has been officially confirmed and the land of Arabasta is currently in mourning.
2Saint Mjosgard
St. Mjosgard is one of the Celestial Dragons and a rare one at that, given that he is a good personality. In the past, he was just as evil as other Celestial Dragons, however, when Otohime saved his life, he mended his ways and decided to fight for the rights of the Fishman against the World Government. At the Reverie, he struck Charloss and saved Shirahoshi, keeping his promise to the fishman-kind.
This did not go down well with the higher-ups and he was executed by none other than Saint Garling Figarland, the champion of God Valley.Garling Figarland also appears to be in charge of the Holy Knights, and he will only come into play more as the series progresses. As for Mjosgard, He was crucified and then executed in a horrific manner, being labeled as the scum of the earth.
1Garp (Potential)
One of the most shocking potential deaths that came during Egghead Island featuresthe Hero of the Marines, Garp.Garp invaded the Pirate Island with his Navy unit in an attempt to rescue Captain Koby. To him, Koby, along with all the other next-generation Marines, are the future of the world and he would gladly expend his life at their cost.
Garp ended up fighting against some very powerful pirates all by himself, including the likes of the former Admiral, Kuzan. While he managed to hold them off all on his own, eventually, Garp fell. He was stabbed right through the chest by Kuzan and then frozen permanently. While Garp has certainly fallen, his death has not been confirmed just yet. Fans have also seen the likes of Saul survive Ice Time Capsule, so the same could be true for Garp as well. However, his death is equally likely. For now, fans can only sit back and wait to see the fate of this character.
