Many ofOverwatch’s playable heroes are adored by fans to the point of dressing up as them. One fan uploaded photos of their pet hamster dressing up asWrecking Ball, a Tank hero in the game who happens to be a hamster.
Overwatchis one of the most popular first-person shooters in the world. While there haven’t been many updates in a long time asBlizzard Entertainmenthas been developingOverwatch 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the game, there used to be many additions toOverwatchsince it released in 2016. Fans especially looked forward to new maps and heroes, such as Wrecking Ball, also known as Hammond.

Wrecking Ball isa Tank herowho happens to be a hamster in a giant, robotic suit and was added intoOverwatchon June 09, 2025. He is able to grapple onto objects in order to swing around the map, making him one of the fastest heroes in the game. He can also knock into enemies to deal damage, and attack them with Quad Cannons and Minefields.
A Reddit user, atsuamy, uploaded two photos of their pet hamster on top of Wrecking Ball’s suit. The only differences between the two photos are the directions that the hamster faces and the captions at the bottom, with the first reading “Be the Ball” and the second reading “She’s called Toilet Roll.” Both photos can be viewed in the fullReddit thread.
A lot of otherOverwatchfans liked this cute costume that atsuamy made for Toilet Roll. When asked, atsuamy revealed that it took two minutes to get Toilet Roll to stay on the Wrecking Ball suit, which they obtained from a Funko and removed Hammond from so Toilet Roll could stand in his place. Many other Reddit users told atsuamy that this was the best recreation of Wrecking Ball they had ever seen.
ManyOverwatchfans are looking forward to playing as Wrecking Ball inOverwatch 2, which is releasing on October 4 on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. A lot of the heroes that were already playable in the original game have gone through some changes, including Wrecking Ball, who will have a lot more health in the sequel.Overwatch 2will be free when it comes out, containing three heroes, six maps, dozens of skins, and more in the game’s first season. More will be added in each season, including a PvE campaign coming in 2023.
