In a little over a month,Persona 5 Royalwill arrive on the PlayStation 4. This is a new version of the 2017 game, with loads of additional content, including a brand new character, new storylines, gameplay adjustments and, of course, new Personas. There are evencontroversial scenes being changedfor the English version. There are enough differences to make it feel like an entirely new game.

Just like its previous incarnation, there are various editions ofPersona 5 Royal. Here is a break down of what each one comes with, as well as what kind of pre-order bonuses to look forward to.

Persona 5 Royal Steelbook Pre-order Bonuses

Priced at $59.99, this version comes with the game, a Steelbook case, and a downloadable dynamic PS4 theme. When it comes to pre-order bonuses, there is no universal one, but separate retailers are throwing in something different for those that pre-order from them.

Persona 5 Royal Digital Editions

The digital version of the game includes the dynamic PS4 theme as well, but there are also various editions, some of which come with their own extras. They are each priced differently as a result.

Persona 5 Royal: Phantom Thieves Edition

This highly coveted version has plenty of enticing physical extras but is unfortunately sold out everywhere. There is one item, in particular, that is ahuge bonus for Joker fans. The Phantom Thieves edition includes:

WhilePersona 5 Royalis a PlayStation 4 exclusive, there are plenty of people who would love to see it ported to another console. Many suspected the title would make it to the Switch when something calledPersona 5 Swas teaseda while back, but it turned out to be an entirely new game,Persona 5 Scramble. This hasn’t deterred fans who are still holding out hope that it makes its way to the Nintendo console at some point in the future. There is a good reason for them to keep it up too, as developer Atlus recently stated that aPersona 5 Royalport is possibleif fans continue to ask for it.

Those who played the original will find a lot of new content to explore. Aside from the new Phantom Thief, Kasumi, there are also multiple endings, an extra school term, which will give the story more room to breathe and expand, and a whole lot more. There is evenDLC that features past protagonistsfromPersona 3and4.

Persona 5 Royalwill release in North America on March 31 for the PS4.
