Personais one of the greatest and most popular JRPGs of all time. Each and every title in the series features its fair share of beloved and memorable characters that become an absolute blast to interact with. While the various anime character tropes are present in this series, it’s the memorable interactions and brilliant growth these characters exhibit that make them so special. Some of these characters are goofballs and pretty funny to interact with. The most notable examples of the same are mentioned below.
10Junpei Iori – Persona 3
EveryPersonagame following the third title has a character who becomes the protagonist’s best friend. Said friend also happens to be a goofball who manages to be the butt of many jokes throughout the game.
Junpeitakes on this role inPersona 3, with players loving this character from the very moment he is introduced. Even now, Yukari calling Junpei “Stupei” is such a hilarious moment despite the rather tame nature of this joke.
9Yosuke Hanamura – Persona 4
Many people feel thatPersona 4has the strongest and most well-written castof all thePersonagames. Each and every character in the series is quite memorable in their own right, including the beloved Yosuke Hanamura.
It helps that Yosuke is one of the most relatable characters in the group, especially if players see his Social Link all the way to the very end. He initiates a brawl with the protagonist before confessing that he was jealous of Narukami at one point, before coming to his senses and evolving his Persona.
8Ryuji Sakamoto – Persona 5
Persona 5takes a while to get going, withboth Joker and Ryuji being transported to Kamoshida’s Palacefollowing a series of unfortunate events. He manages to awaken Captain Kidd after being cornered by Kamoshida and wreaks absolute havoc.

Ryuji is a fun character to hang around with, especially because of his hilarious and outspoken personality. Maxing out his Confidant leads to him resolving his issues with the track team and getting over his guilt as well.
7Rise Kujikawa – Persona 4
Rise Kujikawa isa playful and flirty characterwho sticks a bit too close to the protagonist at times. Given her status as an idol, many people would assume that Rise is pretty haughty and looks down on people.
However, that isn’t the case at all — in fact, Rise actually feels some guilt over her image and hides her true feelings behind her happy-go-lucky personality. It’s great how deep her personality really is, with her charming and funny self being only one layer of many.
6Tadashi Satomi – Multiple Persona Games
A side character who has appeared in both the first and secondPersonagames, Tadashi Satomi is a character not many people have heard of. He’s named after one of the people working on thePersonagames and is a pretty clumsy character.
In a bid to accomplish something great, Tadashi almost always fumbles the bag and fails in his goal. It’s this character trait that makes every event featuring this character pretty funny, and fans were sad to see him absent inPersona 2: Eternal Punishment.
5Teddie – Persona 4
Teddie isa pretty unique character inPersona 4, with his origins remaining fairly mysterious for the longest time. He’s one of the few characters whose Social Link progresses automatically over the course of the series.
He’s also a huge source of comic relief and never fails to crack an ill-timed joke or goof up whenever he’s featured in a cut scene. He might not be up everyone’s alley, but Teddie is beloved by the people who enjoy his character and everything he brings to the table.
4Yusuke Kitagawa – Persona 5
Yusuke had no right to beas funny as he is inPersona 5. However, his socially awkward disposition lends itself to some of the most laugh-out-loud moments in the entire series.

From trying to paint a nude portrait of Ann to cracking a ton of mouse puns after turning into one himself, Yusuke has a ton of highlights in the entire series. He might have a deep character of his own, but it’s clear that the writers were having way too much fun writing his jokes in the series.
3Yukiko Amagi – Persona 4
At a glance, most people would assume thatYukiko doesn’t really seem like a character with a great sense of humor. However, players who interact quite a bit with her character know that she has a tendency to be rather…bizarre, to put it mildly.
It helps that her facial expressions get totally messed up out of nowhere, adding to the hilarity. While some people might find Yukiko creepy because of this sudden change, the vast majority ofPersona 4fans find her to be pretty endearing indeed.
2Eikichi Mishina – Persona 2
It’s a shame that more people haven’t checked out the games beforePersona 3, since they’re also pretty fun in their own right. The second game is considered to be an underrated classic by many, featuring several great characters as well.
This character is pretty narcissistic and never fails to make himself the center of attention whenever possible. While the reason for this negative personality trait is explored later on, his banter with Lisa acrossPersona 2: Innocent Sinalong with his notable lines of dialogue make him one of the funniest characters in the game.
1Kinshiro Morooka – Persona 4
It’s only a given that a character called King Moron would make this list. Kinshiro Morooka looks absolutely despicable and never fails to make fun of the students in Yasogami High School by being as mean as possible.
His character and the way people talk about him are hilarious and one of the many highlights ofPersona 4. Of course, most people who make fun of his character end up shutting their lids after his sudden death at the hands of Inaba’s infamous serial killer.
