Pokemon GOtrainerscan get the Flock Together Research Day event-exclusiveTimed Research quest for US $1.00or the equal cost in their local currency. The Timed Research quest comprises two steps, and once players complete the first step, they can choose from different branches for the second step.
Players must choose from five different branches for the second step: Choose Spearow, Choose Doduo, Choose Hoothoot, Choose Taillow, and Choose Rufflet. Each of these branches has the same tasks but offers different rewards. Those who complete the Timed Research tasks can get encounters with the featuredPokemon GOFlying-type monsterswith a chance of being Shiny. The Shiny probability of these rewarded monsters is the same as the Field Research quest offers.
