Pokemon has used a variety of different balls since the franchise started, one of them being Master Balls.Pokemon GOhas had a lineup of some of the most essential Poke Balls to date: Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Premier Balls, and Beast Balls. However,Master Balls have been one of the most important in the franchisebut haven’t been in the game.
Poke Balls allow players to battle a Pokemon and throw a ball at it in order to capture it and call it theirs. Despite that, sometimes Pokemon break free from those balls, and then they will either continue the battle or run away.

How Will Pokemon GO’s Master Balls Work?
Pokemon GOhas a huge amount of Pokemon available to be caught in its game, just like every one of its console games on the Nintendo Switch or even on past-generation consoles. Master Balls are used in many of these games and the anime, and they have amazing power.When a Master Ball is thrownat a Pokemon during a battle, it cannot run away or break out of the ball, making it a definite catch.
To give a little better insight, many players waste Poke Balls daily trying to catch a Pokemon. They go from throwing one and it breaking out to then giving it candy to try and get it to back down. In other games, it is the same other than the fight – players have to battle the Pokemon a bit to weaken them before they will stop escaping the ball. However, battling them risks the possibility of them fainting and being gone forever.
Bringing in Master Balls intoPokemon GOwill allow players to throw one at a Pokemon they want to catch and be guaranteed that it will be caught. This is also a great ball to use for rarer Pokemon. However, there isn’t much information available on how players will be able to get more Master Balls over time, but a good guess is by paying real money in the in-game shop.
Master Balls will definitely be something players will want to hold onto as they progress throughoutPokemon GO. Be careful not to miss the Pokemon when these balls are thrown, as it will waste the ball completely. Master Balls will be available inPokemon GOon May 22.
