Pokemon Scarlet & Violethas been out for nearly a year, and its first expansion pack is about to release. To celebrate, Nintendo has decided to give fans some custom Nintendo Switch icons so that they can create thematic profile pictures and get in the mood for the upcoming DLC.

Custom Nintendo Switch icons are only available for members of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. Gamers that want to get their hands on these exclusivePokemon Scarlet & Violeticons need to ensure that they have an active subscription while they’re still available. This guide will show fans all the available icons and how they can get them.
Available Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Character Icons
Throughout the next few weeks, there will be six waves of differentPokemon Scarlet & Violetcustom icons. During this time, there will actually be two separate events going on, so on top of being able to claimPokemonicons, players will also be able toacquire customTears of the Kingdomicons.
The first wave starts off with Mew and Mewtwo, most likely due to theMew vs. Mewtwo event inScarlet & Violet. While each wave has two main icons that gamers can unlock, other icons related to the game will also rotate during this time.

How to Redeem Custom Icons
Only players with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can redeem custom icons, as it requires access to the Nintendo Switch Online app.
To redeem thePokemon Scarlet & Violetcustom icons, players must enter the Nintendo Switch Online app and then open the Missions & Rewards tab. Here, they will be able to unlock icons, borders, and backgrounds that they can then use to personalize their Nintendo Switch account profile picture.
Each icon costs 10 Platinum Points, which means in order to unlock all the icons available in these waves, gamers will have to collect and spend a total of120 Platinum Points.
