How to Complete The Disgrace of Salazar Merchant Request in Resident Evil 4 Remake
This request can be found near the start of Chapter 12, alongside the same note asking for players' help inretrieving the scratched emerald from a thieving bird. In order to get involved with the criticism of an art piece, players will have tomake their way to the Throne Room, where that offensive portrait can be found.
Getting to the objective will require some backtracking, so instead of jumping on the Gondola toward the actual goal of this chapter, go through the door opposite the vehicle. From there, head east of the map toward the Throne Room. Once in the room with several portraits and chickens milling about, aSquared Locked Boxcan be found just to the side of the throne.
Use the Cubic Device in order to get to the treasure within, and the prize happens to be a nice Gold Chicken Egg. In the very same room, in the corner left of the throne, hangs the portrait of Ramon Salazar.
To complete the Merchant Request, players will have to egg the painting; however, wasting a treasure like the Gold Chicken Egg on the villain is, well, a waste. Instead, leave the for selling to the Merchant, and grab one of the normal eggs that the chickens will lay sporadically in the room.
Navigate to the attache case, and choose to Equip the egg of choice instead of using it. Once it is in Leon’s hand, aim at the villain’s portrait, and let fly. Watching the cracked egg smeared across that visage is reward enough, but head back to the Merchant to claim thereward of 4 Spinelsfor a fun outing.
