Resident Evil 4 Remakefeatures some new twists on the action-horror classic. The iconic and mysterious Merchant now has blue request forms scattered throughout the game. These requests are side-missions that usually involve finding or collecting certain items in an area. Players can visit the Merchant after completing a request to gainSpinelsin return.Spinels are a differentform of in-game currency that Leon can trade for valuable items such as treasures or weapon attachments. Multiple chapters contain “Destroy the Blue Medallion Requests.”
These side missions involve studying an area closely to find and shoot acertain amount of Blue Medallionshidden throughout a particular area. Follow these steps to find all 6 Blue Medallions located at the Castle Gate.

Castle Gate
Chapter 7 sends Leon and Ashley into the Castle area. The enemies here will be tougherthan in the village.Expect them to be equipped with more armor and weaponry. Complete the Castle Gate area by avoiding the catapults. Drop under the platform with the yellow ribbon to raise the cannon and destroy the locked entrance to the castle. Searching for the medallions will be easier without the enemies, and they will disappear when Leon and Ashley reach the castle entrance. Before entering the castle pick up the request form to the right of the entrance.
This will mark the location of all the medallions on Leon’s map. Now work backward through the area to find and destroy each medallion.
Blue Medallion #1
Return to the cannon platform where theyellow banneris waving in the wind. The southernmost medallion is hanging under a covered arch on the platform.
Blue Medallion #2
Turn around and face north to spot the second medallion. It is placed in the window of the roofless building.
Blue Medallion #3
Players may notice the third medallion located in the distance above the second.Use a scoped weaponor move closer to destroy it.
Blue Medallion #4
To find the fourth medallion drop back downunder the cannon.Now that the cannon has been raised there is a medallion hanging from the underside of the lift.
Blue Medallion #5
Continue through the area under the cannon and climb the ladder. This will bring Leon to the roofless building. The fifth medallion is hanging on the wall near a treasure chest and the latched door entrance to the roofless building.
Blue Medallion #6
The final medallion is further back in the level towards the chapel. Head to where the enemies attacked Leon with a crossbow and look off the castle wall to the south. The medallion is dangling from a tree. Continue on through the door where the request was originally placed to enter the castle andcash in the requestat the Merchant.
